Chapter 1 part 1

Chapter 1
“She’s gone.” I said “She’s gone, how could she leave me like that?” “It’s okay, let it all out.” Geoff said. Geoff’s my psychiatrist, and although it pains me to say so, I really enjoy the time Geoff and I spend together in his office. Geoff’s surprisingly young for a psychiatrist, only 20, and he’s really cool.
The last time I had visited Geoff had been to tell him I had to cancel all of our future meetings. When he asked why, it shocked me. Why was I so sad? Then I knew the answer, Geoff was more than just my psychiatrist, he was my friend and probably the only person I could talk to without fear of being judged. Then it happened Geoff told me that I didn’t have to worry, that I could keep coming to his office whenever I wanted and it made me happy, until my mother started dating again.
Angel is my mother. She’s also the person that found me that late night. I had run away from home again, away from my real father and mother. I was tired, tired of all of the abuse and yelling. When I told my father, he just beat me harder. My skin was raw and sore from the beatings when I ran to the park, where I saw “them”.
