you know how some people regret letting people go in their life, aka "the one that got away", well i found out today that my boyfriend has one of those people.
he liked this girl Rachel in 7th grade and they dated a bit but she wanted a mature relationship but he wasn't ready for that. so they broke up.
tonight somehow we got on the subject of people from our past and she & their history came up. he said "You're the best girlfriend ever but she was the one that got away," which to me means that he regrets breaking up with her. WTF?! he still thinks about her too, and quite often. he said, "i think about how she's doing and hope she's well." i don't really believe that.
if i'm the best, then why think about anyone else? why miss anyone else?
