Interestingly enough, I took a trip to Paris, the city of love con-artists. It was as expected, boring, dull, and unimpressive. It is overrated so much by the media. It's loud and unsettling at night, not peaceful and romantic. The cab drivers steal your money, just like everyone else on the street. I hung my arm outside the cab window and a guy on a bike rode by and took my watch! The beds are stiff, the bathrooms/restrooms are extremely small, and there's too many multi-linguists walking around selling cheap items for 10x it's worth. The food made me sick three times, and the pizza tasted like crap. The cab drivers are psychopaths, the hotel workers are assholes, the restaurant waiters are literally gay, and 60% of the women I saw had facial hair. Take my advice, DO NOT GO TO PARIS!!! I reiterate, it's overrated too much by the media.
