i waz on the 1st relay wich started about 8 or 8:30. with me from my shooting club, the club manager, guy taylor( i call him mr. taylor) and a 1st yr intermediate( in 4-H age division) kara coffey. the weather conditions were pretty crappy. lots of wind, in all directions throughout the range, and very hot and humid. this is the kind of weather condition that u would need 2 drink lots of water or u'll dehydrate. when that happens, the first thing that screws up is ur vision. u wont b able 2 c very well. its just a big blur. i no this bcause i have experienced this in my 5 yrs of shooting. the 1st match is the dewar course wich is a 50 yd prone( laying down) and a 100 yr prone target. my scores on that waz( each out of 200- 20x, x's r shots that r in the center. not exactly in the centr but very close.): 50 yd:198-14x, 100 yd: 195-7xx total: 393-21x ( out of 400-40x) that waz bad.. then we shot a 100 yd match: 100 yd #1: 194-5x, 100 yd #2: 193-4x, total: 387-9x. HORRIBLE> I HAVENT SHOT THAT BAD IN ABOUT A YR! then we came back 2 50 yds. but, these were 50 mt. targets that were reduced 2 50 yds. its harder than the regular 50 yd target. 50 mt. #1: 196-9x, 50 mt. #2:197-11x, total: 393-20x. not 2 good. then we shot the reg. 50 yd match. 50 yd #1:199-11x, 50 yd #2: 197-4x, total: 396-15x a little bit better. still room 4 a lot of improvement. my total 4 the day waz 1569-65x ( out of 1600) bad! bad! bad! i waz the high woman and high jr.( meaning winner of those categories)

only about 12 pple showd up 4 the 2nd day of the match. so every1 waz on 1 relay. we shot the targets in the same order. dewar: 50yd: 199-7x, 100yd: 197-11x, total: 396-18x. thats ok. then the 100yd match: #1: 196-9x, #2: 199-10x, total: 395-19x. not 2 good. then the 50mt. reducd 2 50yd match: #1: 198-11x, #2: 199-13x, total: 397-24x, better! lots. on that match i waz 2nd overall. the winner of that match beat me by only 3 x's. mad then the 50yd match: #1: 198-11x, #2: 199-11x, total: 397-22x. pretty good. my total waz a 1585-83x! lots better that yestrday! my grand aggregate waz 3154-148x( out of 3200- 320x) overall i came out 2 b in 6th place. not 2 good. at the prone state championships i got 1st place on the metallic sights day( using what u call peep sights.) scoring a 1590-84x! then the 2nd day i shot a 1587 and i dont remember how many x's but i remember on the grand aggregate i got a 3177and dont remember the x count. i came out 2 b in 3rd place. NOTE: im only 14 and the pple who beat me were 16 or 17, and the other 1 was 50, 60, 70, eek
