Do we take our memories for granted?
Do you have a memory you would cry over? Not a memory that makes you cry, thats for another day. What I'm talking about is one you would not want to loose no matter what happened. For instance; If someone told you that they could reach inside your mind and take or erase spesifc memories. Is there one you wouldn't let them touch? One that you would cry over at the thought of loosing? You might be saying, ah but if we never knew we had it, what would be the difference and how could we miss it? Thats the thing though isn't it? As humans all we have to ourselves is our thoughts and memories in the end. Thats what makes it so frightening. What about past mistakes? Tempting now isn't it? We aren't talking about important things, but........aren't mistakes just as important? You can't learn from what never happened. Everything happens for a reason. Every thought you think and every move you make happens for a reason. We make choises in life and we choose our own paths and everything along that path is important. We may look back and see things and the further we look the fuzzier they get. But they are there and for a certain period of time, you can look back on them as much as you want. I'm not saying to spend the rest of your days thinking about the good old days, but you get my drift don't you? Getting off topic aren't I? Not really.... The truth is that we shoudn't want to loose any memories and cry over them all. Our minds are so tender and we don't know what we want most of the time...We should thank our minds for the memories we still have left and hope that we can hold onto them for as long as possible.
