"Heh heh heh" growls the third bandit, who is now laughing at Kira as he struggles to free himself of the seemingly giant bandit. "You aint goin anywhere boy, so you might as well quit now. "I don't know what to do" thinks Kira to himself. They begin to beat Kira in to submission until he goes unconscious. The last word's Kira hears before slipping into unconsciousness is "this boy has guts." Hours later Kira awakens to find himself tied to a pole inside a tent. "Wher-(winches) OW!" shouts Kira as he feels a sudden pain in his shoulder. "Shut up or they'll hear us," says a small cat as she is cutting the ropes they had used to tie Kira to the pole with, using a rusty knife. "Who are you?" ask's Kira as he supress a yelp as she cuts a bit too close and accidently cuts him."Usue Ito quit fidgeting, your making it difficult to cut these ropes." whispers Usue. "Very well" whispers back Kira. After a few minutes, Usue finishes the last of the rope and pulls it off him. "Alright now we gotta find a way to get out of here," she whispers. "Wait a minute, how do I not know your one of them and that your just trying to trick me?" says Kira. Usue lets out a small sigh and slumps ot the ground. "You think im one of them???" she points in the direction of the center of the camp. Well im not entirely sure, says Kira as he comes to kneel beside her."Well if you must know then here," she pulls her torn sleeve up to reveal large slashes and deep cuts all along her arm. thats "what *they* did to me, I would kill them the first chance I got if I could.Kira grimaces at the cuts and bruises on the rest of her body. "What are you doing here anyway?" She lets out a huge sigh. "I ran away from home a couple months ago, my dad was a drunk so every time he came home, he would beat me and my mother, she would try to defend me but he would knock her out the moment she tried to protect me, one unfortunate day he had been
extremly drunk and came home, my mother saw that he was extremely dangerous so she ran to the kitchen to grab a knife to defend herself."(she begins to weep) He took it from her and asked her what she meant by this? He grabbed her by the hair and began to chuckle as he plunged the knife through her heart. I screamed in horror as I saw my mother fall. He then turned towards me, laughing manically as he approach with the blood stained knife, I began to tremble and weep as he drew closer. Then suddenly, some strange spirit appeared in front of me and plunges straight into my father, completely erasing him from the face of the world." I suddenly felt weary and fell unconcious on the floor. I awoke to find I was now alone in the house, seeing that I would be sent to jail because I would be blamed for the death of my father, I ran away from that wretched place and never looked back. As I went further into the wilderness, I began to feel fatigue taking a hold of me. I fell to the ground, out of breath and didnt move. Soon, these men found me and brought me back to their camp, abusing me and using me for their own pleasure." (stops weeping) "I have been here ever since, thinking of ways to escape. Then you came along so now I think I may have a chance." Kira stands up brushes himself off and offers Usue his hand to get up. She grabs it, pulls herself up and looks into his eyes. Kira smiles and speaks softly."Alright then, lets get started."
