is death a thing to fear?
some people say not, religious people proclaim that death is a return to the bosom of god. But why is it that with all the great people that died, with all the lovers the have expired, why have none of them come back. no devout man has come back from the dead to proclaim that there is nothing to fear, no one has come back to console thier bereaved spouse.
is this necessarily an indication that there is no after life? In my opinon, no. it mearly means that the door is only one way. but does the exsistence of an afterlife mean that there is nothing to fear in death?, Again in my opinion no. you should fear that you will leave things unsaid, or undone. You should fear the death in vain. This does not condone cowardice. But it does mean that you should avoid death if you can do so without dishonoring yourself.
