You faced your fear, you showed that you were strong. You even remembered the poppet bow for fallen comrades! You're not a 'little poppet' anymore. You're a full-fledged poppet. If Frey knows how to make weapons, we'll have him make you some claws. Or Engel; he'd be good at that. Nice and heavy, with a razor edge! ^.^ Gonna have to get you a shield and cloak too! Think of it this way. He was hurt. Yes. He won't admit it, but he was.
But if you notice, he doesn't do any of those things anymore. Those are all old things. And he's wearing down that old image of himself in your mind. He's slowly, day by day, reshaping your idea of him. He doesn't hurt you anymore, and so you're able to be strong. And you grow more and more attached to him, with every day that passes."

And yes, I realize that Engel will probably never read this. But we still love him beyond his understanding, and we would do anything for him. He's right up there with Mommy and Baby Girl and Big Brother on our list (Loki and Nyx don't count! They're automatic wins heart )
