When I started the hiatus, I was convinced I'd be leaving Gaia, and I was tired of people. Some personal issues happened, and we'll just say I'm way better now.

I was hiding away on a separate account, of which I still won't name at the moment, and it was pretty active and generous, but even that account's gone inactive now because I have a new job.

For about a week and a half I've actually been working two jobs. I've had no days off since ah... last monday or something?
The two week notice finally ran out, and now I've just the second job, which is a 36 hour work week. I've never had a full time job before and while this technically isn't one it's close enough.
I work 12 - 5 tuesday through friday, 12 - 8 on saturday. I only have sunday and mondays off. Still trying to join the Navy, by the way. rolleyes

Anyway, recently my days have just been filled with work, friends house(omg real social life?!), sleep, work.

Tomorrow I go camping with another friend. We started planning this before this second job fell into my lap, and I really don't want to cancel so I lied to my second job and said I had to work my first job those three days.
So I have wednesday through friday off, but then I have to work saturday, and then my normal 36 hour work schedule.

It's a minimum wage job, but I get way more hours(and jesus ******** a static schedule!! TYVM) so end up making more than I was at my last job. It's actually not so bad, aside from the fact that you don't get any breaks unless you work an 8 hour shift. :/

Oh, This is about sex/gender.

I consider myself an androgyne. On my profile, I have a picture of me and then some blurb about pronoun use if you really care that much (Basically you can call me whatever you want as long as you don't correct others).

Well, I was in the GCD briefly today on my other account lurking, and I found a thread talking about avatars not being the "correct" sex as the person using it. And this thread was actually pretty interesting, but regardless it reminded me of something I already knew: Despite this blurb in my profile, people weren't really following my wishes.

Or maybe it's the picture in my profile that makes it inherently obvious. Whatever.
Either way, I am removing that whole section from my About Me today, and I'm going back to being completely ambiguous.

I know I'll never escape the people who really know and call me that pronoun in front of others, but people in general will subconsciously correct others or correct themselves when it comes to this issue.

Now I know I say "I really don't care what pronoun you use" and for a long time I could say that. But the fact is that now more than half of the people I know are referring to me with the pronoun I happen to dislike a bit more, and that makes me uncomfortable.

I am not asking you to change which pronoun you use(if you even bother reading this), but I am taking it all down from my profile so this whole thing doesn't spread any faster of people have "proof" I am one gender or the other. I can't change the past but I can help shape the future, and while that makes me incredibly biased, this is the internet and I want to be seen the way I want to be seen.

In the meantime, if you are correcting other people's use of pronouns in reference to me, please stop.

About giving away my items:
When I started this hiatus, I gave all my items away to one user. I told him to hold onto them and if it was certain I was not coming back to Gaia, to hand them out among friends.
My avatar is deleted right now, my inventory is full of junk and worthless crap. My account was worth about 6 - 8 million, but all of that is on this other person's account. I was being stupid and gifted over half of the items, so that makes it more difficult to transfer these items quickly since you have to open a gift to regift or trade it now.

I and the other person had an agreement about when I'd get these items back, but then life happened for both of us and my items are still sitting in his account (or at least I'd hope so).

The items aren't lost or anything like that, but the support/offer to help getting them back was very much appreciated; thank you. heart

About the Navy:
I resubmitted all my papers again and I should know whether I am disqualified again or not sometime this week or early next week. Supposedly. Hopefully.
