I cannot believe the level of accomplishment that I feel at posting my first notice on a Gaian journal (I sound so incredibly odd, but then again...).
First and foremost topic of discourse...education. The word that I am certain many teenagers loathe to hear (or perhaps it's just me). I have recently found that the higher your education, the more analytic you are of the world. Every single shot of a film or every single chapter of a novel seems to jump out in alliterations, imageries, effects, and the assorted torturous language techniques. Are we doomed to continually deconstruct our surrounds until the earth destructs? Well, what a rhetorical question!
I think it is helpful to have an education in life even if Literal Analysis Syndrome continues to pester us throughout the days of our lives. Oh the drama! As LAS is never going to leave the intelligents minds of teenagers we should be utterly entirely prepared for the next generation Dumas and Dickens.
