Kyo and Narashi finally stopped running once they reached the safety of the woods.She fell back onto the ground looking up at the sky
Narashi sat down beside her,his ears twitching slightly as the wind blowed past them."Do you think they made it out master?"
Kyo sat up alittle then looked around,she stood up and started walking around.As if she was searching for something
He walked over to her,blinking alittle as she searched for something"What are you looking for?"
Kyo walked over to a tree and placed her hand on it,feeling around it"There should be a door around here somewhere.It connects from the tunnel in the house"
"Theres a tunnel in the house?"Narashi tilted his head slightly as he watched her
"Yea,Old man Kazumi showed it to me.But it was a long time ago and I'm not quite sure where it is exactly"She sighed alittle rubbing the back of her head
Just then there was a loud click and Satoshi popped his head from under the ground.He pushed the door open all the way before climbing his way out of the tunnel
Kyo and Narashi turned around as he climbed out.They blinked as Masumi and the others came out after him one by one"So thats where it was.Knew it was around here somewhere"
Satoshi glanced over at Kyo slightly as he closed the door after everyone was out"You mean to tell me you knew about the tunnel?"
Kyo nodded her head alittle as she smiled"Yea,Old man Kazumi showed it to me while I was a kid awhile back"She looked around at all of them as she tilted her head to the side
"Speaking of Old man Kazumi,where is he?"She placed her hand on Narashi's head,petting it softly
Ryu walked over to them and looked at Kyo,he had one of his eyebrows raised up at her"What do you mean?You were suppose to meet up with him"
Kyo looked down at Narashi then over at Ryu"Why was I suppose to meet up with him..?You were the ones he was with"
Masumi walked over to Kyo,Makoto was in her arms until she jumped onto Narashi's head"He told us to go ahead,he said he was going to wait for you and Narashi to come"
"We couldn't get down there,the door was locked"Kyo glared at Satoshi,knowing that it was him that did it
Satoshi whistled to himself as he looked away,he caught a glance of Kyo's glare not wanting to see it again"Well looks like we have to go get the old man then"
Kyo shook her head slightly as she started to walk back towards the house.She was heading towards the back of it so she was going a different way.
After awhile of walking Tatsuya and Makoto caught eye of the house and race towards it.Kyo ran after them once she saw it too
"You two be careful,I can guarantee that Tozawa and his men are still around here somewhere"Kyo sighed to herself slightly as she caught of with them,she smiled alittle
Narashi stopped and sniffed the air "What is that smell..?" He ears twitched as the wind blew,making the scent he picked up stronger"MASTER!!"
Kyo looked over at her shoulder and glanced at Narashi.When she did there was a loud boom,others followed after it but they weren't as loud as the first one
The house had been bombed from the front and middle and started to collaspe.Kyo turned around and saw it collasping.
"OLD MAN KAZUMI!!!"She was about a few feet away from the house and was about to run to it until Satoshi grabbed her by the arm
Kyo glared back at him then snatched her arm away from him,running towards the house.Before she could get close enough to touch it the wind from the other bombs that had been set off forced her back
Once all the bombs had went off Narashi ran over to Kyo,her right arm was bleeding due to a piece of glass that had cut her as the second set of bombs went off
Her eyes stayed fixed on the house,Kyo didn't notice her arm but she could feel that it had gone numb.She stumbled to her feet then slowly walked towards the house,reaching her left arm out trying to reach it
"No..He's still.." Kyo stopped walking when she reached the destroyed remains of the house.She clenched her right hand in a fist and screamed"NOO!!!"
Kyo started to throw some of the rubbles of the house to the side as she tried to look for Kazumi.Knowing that in the back of her mind he was dead
She ignored the stinging on her right arm and kept searching for him,making her arm bleed more each time she moved it
Satoshi looked at the house,or what was left of it.He held his head down knowing that she wasn't going to find him alive
Kyo stopped searching when she found a hand sticking up from under some of the remains "I found him" She removed the rest of the rubble and uncovered his body
Kazumi's head had been bleeding,blood still running down his face.In his left hand he clenched something in it
Narashi and the others ran over to Kyo when they saw her stop.They looked at Kazumi's body,Satoshi clenching his eyes tight
Kyo smiled weakly down at him"Old man Kazumi.."She nudged at him slightly as if she were a little kid"Old man..wake up.."
Kyo reached over to his left hand and took out a necklace out of it.It had a fang attached to it,it was the first fang Kyo had grown and lost as a kid
She clenched it tight in her hand,closing her eyes tight as she held her head down "He waiting for me...He believed that I was going to come..but I let him down..!"
Kyo stood up still holding the necklace in her hand,she had loosened the grip on it as she turned around.
Narashi walked over to her,holding his head down not wanting to see her like that "Master.."
Kyo put the necklace in the pocket of her kimono and turned back around,picking Kazumi up and holding him on her back
She started to walk away from them,heading back into the woods"I'm taking him to the place where we first met.."Kyo walked away from them,disappearing within the woods
Narashi looked at all of them slighty before he ran off after her.Disappearing a few moments after he ran into the woods after Kyo.
