The Story of Sth1092ds.
A lone figure stands apart from the crowd in the street. As you pass him, you take an uncaring glance, but double back your gaze to make sure you have seen correctly. His pale face is emotionless and unfeeling, yet his eyes are filled with fire. His reflective black hair shines bright in the light of the moon, and you are drawn to examine him. On first glance he looks human, mostly. Standing at five-foot-eight, built thin and compact, there is nothing that would cause your attention to be drawn to him, since he looks human for the most part. But something about his eyes, his skin, and his nonexpressive face draw you to infer that there is something awry about him. He is gently spinning a small blade between his hands, and when he notices you, he attempts to sheath it. In the rush, you could have sworn you saw the blade sink into his leg. His face remains unfeeling as he swiftly removes it and sheathes it correctly. No scar, and very little blood is left. He turns and slowly walks away, and you wonder who, and more importantly, what, he is...
Experiment SeTH was a genetic attempt at creating a perfect human specimen. This started with strand 1.0, and ended with strand 203.0, where the laboratory believed that they had achieved perfection, with Experiment SeTH, Strand 2033, Rating Exceeds Standards. Sth1092ds was one of the earlier strands, the 109.0 strand. He was the second experiment of this strand, and turned out better than all of the others, for some reason still unknown. Still, better than the bad was not good enough. Like all the others, he emerged from the cell at the approximate age of 16. Sth1092 was faster than planned, lacked the target strength, and had telepathic and telekenetic abilities below par. His regenerative abilities were not planned for at the time, but were incorporated in all of the future strands. Once the tests came back that Sth1092 did not meet laboratory goals, they rated him DisSatisfactory, and stabbed him several times through the heart, lungs, kidneys, and head. When they were certain he was dead, he was thrown out in the middle of the woods, where he would hopefully be eaten. No such luck existed for the lab.
A greedy traveler came upon young Sth1092ds and, seeing that he was rather bloody, took him in and cared for him, until he could see what he was about. When he saw the wounds begin closing up of their own accord, the traveler, a man by the name of Tsenir, saw that this child would be rather valuable, and had the potential to bring him much fortune. Tsenir began to feed young Sth1092ds lies and fairy tales, illusions of a world beyond where only he was a good person, the last pillar of truth. Sth1092ds didn't buy it at all, and utilized his telepathy to break into Tsenir's mind and learned of his true intentions. Tsenir was furious, and unsheathed his blade to implant it in Sth's gut, hoping to create enough of a distraction to get away at least. Sth was infuriated, and, sword still in gut, leapt at Tsenir and ripped out his throat, then continued to dismantle the rest of him, until all that was left of Tsenir was a bloody stain and a pile of limbs. Sth removed the sword and left it, then lit the entire cottage on fire, eliminating all evidence of Sth's existence.
Sth traversed for a few years through the woods. There he learned his code of honor, derived from nature's laws, as well as several old or dying human codes of honor. Here he also learned to fight, from watching the styles of the wolf and cougar, the deer and birds, and even the small squirrels and insects. Sth took the time to marvel at the perfection that each creature had with regard to its place in nature. Then Sth met a man who gave him a purpose, and a mission.
The man Sth ran into was a doctor from the lab that created Sth. He informed Sth that the lab was in their final thread, the perfect thread. He also let Sth know that he was a failure, one of the lab's mistakes. Sth didn't accept this. As he kindly broke each of the doctor's limbs, he courteously explained that each individual was perfect, and made to fill its own niche in nature. St proceeded to the lab, with intent to dismantle the so called "perfect specimen."
Sth arrived at the laboratory quickly, and broke in, past the security and their guns. He had no time for them, and moved swiftly, so their normal human eyes would be unable to trace him. He entered the testing room, but was too late. Experiment SeTH, Strand 2033, Type ES, had already been awakened. Sth leapt from the shadows with an attempt to tackle him, but STH2033ES caught Sth with reactions that match his own. STH2033ES swung and caught Sth with a powerful sidearm swipe that planted young Sth in the concrete wall. The doctors murmured with satisfaction at their "Perfect Specimen." Then something happened that they didn't expect. While Sth was crawling out of the wall, STH2033ES utilized his "Perfect" telepathy to hack the lab's computer database and pulled out all files. Realizing his potential and ability, STH2033ES rose up and left to clone himself an army, taking out half the lab as he did so. Only one doctor was left alive by the time Sth recovered. Upon a mild interrogation that included snapping every bone in the doctor's body one by one, Sth was able to discover thast there existed four other experiments that escaped or were thrown from the lab, 1092, 1099, 0012, and 1593. Sth gave the doctor a relatively quick death for his co-operation and vowed to destroy all of the experiments, and especially STH2033ES, the perfect one.
Today, Sth's mission continues. He himself is 1092, and he has disposed of 0012, the Lab's first surviving experiment. 0012 was a flaw in the system that the rest of the experiments were based off of, his only error being his inability to learn speach. 0012 needed death, and Sth was able to deliver it. 1593 was killed after he tried to stop STH2033ES, and Sth found his remains in the middle of the Australian desert. Dissapointed that he wasn't even able to slow STH2033ES down, Sth moved on. 1099, another survivor from Sth's strand, has been located and currently resides in an insane assylum, since his mind was torn to shreds by STH2033ES's telepathic abilities. Which leaves Sth's sole remaining target STH2033ES, the "Perfect One."
