Angel
Spirits made for the purposes of spreading God's message across the realms. Often aerial soldiers in his army. Completely kept from committing the 'seven deadly sins' in any way, shape, or form. Are taught that God's word is law, and that he is absolute. Anything saying differently is blasphemy.
Appearances usually visually stunning.
Personalities vary.
Eating is unnecessary.
Sleeping habits comparable to that of a normal living human.
Capable of independent thought, even when in Heaven.

Demon
Spirits under the direct command of the Nega-God. Often devoted soldiers in his army. Usually very loyal to the Nega-God. Fierce protectors and strong soldiers, fighting for their causes and letting nothing stand in their way. (not a lot known, more investigation needed)
Appearances vary widely, usually a human base mixed in with animal attributes.
Personalities vary.
Eating is unnecessary, but a fun passtime when bored.
Sleeping habits comparable to that of a normal living human.

Elemental
Spirits representing one of several elements. Much in the way Mystics come into being, Elementals are formed from excess magick of a particular element. They fight for most of their lives. When the ime comes that they are beaten in combat, they become a summonable spirit, bound to the one that beat them. They reside in the victor's soul when not summoned. Affected by any sickness that the summoner may be afflicted by.
Appearances can change at the will of the Elemental (presumably).
Personalities vary; usually relatable to their element. (Fire = Hot temper, Earth = 'Down to Earth' personality, etc.)
Eating habits unknown; preferances are at the will of the Elemental.
Sleeping habits unknown.

Elf Spirit
Proficient in magick. Length of ears determines how strong the elf's magick is; the longer, the stronger -insert sexual joke here-. Use catalysts to increase the power of their magick. (Not much more known)
Not called the Fair Folk for nothing; elves tend to be very attractive.
Personalities vary.
Eating habits, as of now, unknown. Presumed unnecessary.

Guardian Spirit
Spirits assigned by the Elder Council to protect their Charges. Charges are humans in need that the Guardian will stay with until the end of the Charge's life. Classification of spirit that is used as 'atonement' for sins committed in life. Human spirit taken to be Guardian, most often.
Appearances vary widely; usually a human base mixed in with various Earth animals.
Personalities vary.
Capable of consuming bad energy and evil spirits, which is the only way that I personally know of for putting your Guardian to sleep.
Sleep comes when the Guardian is overwhelmed with bad energy from their Charge (or another source) and needs to concentrate on converting the energy. The Guardian Spirit will fall asleep and work off the energy, much like a bear hibernating.
Supposed soulmate to their Charges.
The more dependent the Charge is on their Guardian, the stronger the Guardian becomes.

Human Spirit
Usually wander the spiritual world. If they have no purpose, they are removed from existence. If they have a purpose, they are allowed to continue on (until that purpose is fulfilled?)
Appearances, peronalities, eating, and sleeping habits are applicable to basic knowledge of human nature.

Messenger
Spirits specializing in delivering messages between other beings. Record voices, deliver the message, and return to await being called up again. Usually very friendly. Easily intercepted and easily influenced however; not the best way to deliver top-secret messages.
Appearances, to date, are known to be available in four forms. Rabbit, for average delivery. Bird, for secretive delivery. Jaguar, for speedy delivery. And turtle, for frequent inter-realm delivery.
Personalities are usually formal and friendly, easygoing; the perfect mail carriers.
Eating habits unknown.
Sleeping habits unknown.
Incredibly cute; you need to resist the urge to hug them.

Mystic
Collections of energy that have massed together into a sentient being. Relatively proficient in magick.
Appearances can be changed at the will of the Mystic.
Personalities vary, of course, though Lust seems to be big on their to-do list...
Strawberries are a favorite food, and whipped cream too. Off the skin of their lovers. Most other sexy foods are probably a preference as well...
Sleeping habits unknown; probably relatable to average human sleeping habits.
Really do like sex. o.0

Ellijah

Poppet
Spirits created in mass numbers to fight in God's army. Usually summoned and bound to increase the summoner's magickal abilities. Emotions are repressed, and no recreation is provided. Ultimately, the perfect soldier.
Skeletal in appearance, with jewel eyes. Have three very long metal claws on their hands, kept curled up so as to avoid causing injury.
All Poppets have shields on their backs. This shield ensures the safety of both the Poppet and the Poppet's charge. Without this shield, the two would be severely in danger.
Personalities vary.
Eating is not necessary, but it seems to be an enjoyable passtime. The Poppet does not gain any weight because of the consumption of food.
Sleeping is necessary, but can be gone without if needbe. A perk from their endless training.

Spirits Known:

Ganon

Raider
Inter-realm pirates. Not well-liked in other realms. Have a lot of basic knowledge about several realms, but have never done a lot of extra study on any one particular set of beings.(Not much known)
Appearances are likened to human-based spirits when on Earth. Slightly a pearly gray color, though this is only when they venture outside their realm. Appearances change based on the realm they are in and the ruling life-form in said realm. True form unknown, and they aren't sharing anytime soon.
Eating unnecessary when not in their home realm.
Personalities usually very reserved and detached, if they interact with you at all. Makes pirating easier, or so I'm told.
Sleeping is not possible when outside their home realm.
Don't like using contractions in their speech; they feel that it cheats the language, and so do not use them very often.

Thing
Highly secretive spirits, and incredibly rational. Usually will keep their knowledge to themselves. Have remained decidedly neutral since their creation, but have recently begun venturing to outside realms.
Appearances are small, shadow-like beings.
Personalities go one of two ways: They are either hard and calculating, thinking with utter logic, or susceptible and perceptive to human emotions. This leads one to think that Things do not have emotions of their own, but rather adopt them on occasion as they come in contact with other beings.
Eating is something that is possible for them, though they prefer to keep the specifics a secret for the time being.
Sleeping habits unknown.
Almost always think with nearly infallible logic in every situation. Trying to get them to say something illogical is like trying to -insert impossible situation here-. It just doesn't happen.
