United States of America President Barack Hussein Obama was already inagurated on the noon of the 20th in the States, 1AM of the 21st here in the Philippines.
As I have read his speech, found at The Examiner Philippines, Obama focused on many points, like of saving the States and all other countries dependent on them, including the Philippines, from the global financial crisis.
For me, it would be better if Mr. President will not just say those words, and to do it, as many people do expect that he could be the world's "Life-Saver".
I have watched the live coverage from my television set and when we saw the situation, Americans throughout the DC square and also the National Mall were filled with people, hoping for him to make the whole world give attention to the States.
In a news article, Republic of the Philippines President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo congratulated Obama and welcomed him to the world of politics. United States Ambassador to the RP Kristy Kenney told media firms in RP that RP-US ties will continue.
And, remember that we'll still be monitoring Obama's administration, and also the Arroyos.
