My uncle David died at 7:30 tonight, about a hour ago. He had a long battle with cancer. I didn't know him that much, but...I've heard a lot of stories from my grandmother. He was an avid fisherman, only just retiring this past year. He left daughters who the majority are compassinate nurses. He left a loving family, all of whom loved him sincerely.
He cared a lot about his family, buying my mother a pair of volleyball knee pads when she was playing in high school. ... This whole thing has me thinking about death. Lord, grant him access into heaven, allow him a peaceful and plesant eterinty next to you.
