During the war from when she was six, she was separated from her hometown and made a contract with a demon and thus cursed to live for eternity. She is then found by an orphanage and was under their care.

--Son of the former Demon King. Used by his father so he can succeed in getting revenge on Alruna's father. Cold and mysterious, at least until Alruna dug into his mind and warmed his heart. He began putting almost all his trust into her.
-Atsushi Sangui

--Vampire demon that once tried to infiltrate the academy but has fallen in love with Alruna and rivals against Rei for her heart. Although he is seemingly harmless, he actually has an ulterior move.

--Alruna's early deceased demon father that was once highly recommended for Demon King but fell in love with a human became king for a human country instead. He was sealed or "killed" by the very humans of his country because of their fear for him. However, he holds no anger towards them.
-Yuuki Ichido

--Once looked up and respected Shinji and thought of him like an older brother. Felt betrayed when Shinji fell in love with a human and exacts revenge by using Rei to do so since his body is deceased. Became Demon King since her nearly rivaled Shinji in power. He wandered around looking for Shinji and found out that he was sealed. Thus, sealing himself so that when Shinji is unsealed, so will he.

--Alruna's mother and queen of Rosaline. She was once saved and swept off her feet by Shinji from a horde of demons.
-Amoria
--15 Years
--Holds the Red Rose position and is a friend of Alruna's. She looks very childlike and has a mind somewhat like a child. She comes from a wealthy family but lacks love from her parents. She strives to show that she is not worthless and useless.
-Nemi
--16 Years
--She is a dear friend to Alruna and Amoria since she is Blue Rose. She self sacrificed herself to save her friends during a mission and eventually becomes an angel to watch over her friends.
-Christy
--16 Years
--Quiet, confident, at the top of her class, and Purple Rose. Her appearance may fool some people to think of her as cold or stuck up, but she is actually gentle and caring.
-Hikari
--16 Years
--She is very intelligent and respected among many, but she sees Alruna as a main rival and constantly gets in her way. Although it seems that way, because of her White Rose position, she has grown to know Alruna more, bit by bit.
-Endelyne

--Yellow Rose and most intelligent among them, she is independent and studies regularly to become a scholar and find out the secrets of the world. In the beginning, she intimidates Alruna, but the wall around her slowly melts away.

--Has a baby face and holds Red Knight position.

--Known Alruna at the orphanage which they once belonged to. It is a memory since he is now the Blue Knight.

--Tends to flirt with girls, reels others in with money, and schemes alot. Holds Purple Knight position.

--Pressured to the next line of noblety within his family, he has excellent grades and is skilled at many things. Holds White Knight position.

--Alruna sees her as a mean old grandma, but she actually cares much for the academy and Alruna. She enjoys observing the children within the academy grow to enjoy their lives.

--Saved Alruna from receiving a frostbite on a cold winter day but caught a rare illness, causing her to lose her voice and facial expressions. Her personality drastically changes to a quiet, calm and collected girl.
