It's high time that procrastinating ends and writing begins. Although I consider myself a talented bard with a fairly decent grasp of grammar, I've not published squat and, more importantly, have not written anything in two years. It's possible to blame it all on writer's block, but I prefer to blame it on the ex-bf (much more fun).
I am severely under-funded though. Writing is *not* cheap. Nobody sits under a tree and *voila* publishable material gets magically conjured. It takes a group of educated and expensive individuals to get any work done. The bones of a novel comes from the author, but the brain, the heart and other important bits come from other equally dedicated people (i.e. publisher, agent, copy editor, editor, lay-out artist, etc.). If it were not for these people, the novel is completely unreadable.
*sigh* if only these people could work for free!
