Aaah...finally out of midterm testing...You know what that means~!
More Gaia!
But before I do that, I need to get past the weekend, a.k.a., my working hours...Dun dun DUN!
Real-World Entry
The director for the school musical (who shall be called Ms. Trogdor for anonymity reasons and a little thing called suing) has called me for Saturday to act as the only stage manager. Setting props, making sure all of the dancers know where they're going, making sure the prima donna's ego is pampered...
Maybe I didn't start this off right.
I didn't get into the show. Sadly, I can't tap, and that is nearly essential for this show. I think I can act, and I'm not too shabby at singing, but I really never learned how to dance. I was one of those kids who was sent off to Little League (*cough*free*cough*) soccer. Yeah.
But no worries. While I'm getting blamed for a lot of the crap that happens on stage, such as forgotten props, lines, and cues, I'm still relied on and trusted pretty heavily throughout these rehearsals. And while it hurts a lot to see everyone I used to dance jazz with and sing with last year talking and having fun instead of what they're supposed to be doing with me left out in the cold, I know that if I don't do it, it won't get done.
But still...
I hurt.
