So, for my next entry; this week, we'll deal with public performances. (I actually have a topic instead of random advice! Gasp! Well, this is partially practice in case I ever want to do anything televised or something like that...) Anywho... a good way to make a public performance less serious is to smile a lot. Enjoy it like the performance is the epitome of your life. The audience will enjoy it too. Jokes are a good way to dispel tension, as well. The only problem, however, is that a well placed joke can not only dispel tension and negative feelings in the audience, but it has... other negative repercussions as well. Make sure you're allowed to relax the audience before you tell your joke, because your friends will never let you live it down if you screw it up. (Truuuust me...)
