Kingdom Hearts fanfic
Maxx's summer planner was empty, along with her yearbook not one signature. This year she refused to deal with a eventful summer this year is for staying up all night and sleeping all day.
"Maxx what's this?" Sam asked barging into Maxx's room she had passed out on the floor not too long before Sam walked in, she had been staying up late waiting for the video game she ordered.
"KYAA!!" she screamed as she slammed the door on his face, she threw on her robe and glared at him.” Why did you barge in on me?" She asked.
"Sorry Maxx its 12:30 I thought you were awake and dressed by now!" Sam had come in with her family only 2 years before she was born.” you got a package!" He said leaving a large envelope in front of her room. She picked it up and opened it. Filled with joy she ripped open the game case and plugged in her PS2, in about 15 hours this game would be done and over. That’s what Maxx thought as she placed the game into the slot and pressed the eject button (and thus doing the opposite) It pulled the game into the console and started the theme music. The soft piano marveled Maxx as she selected new game and proud mode. Kingdom hearts 2 was finally here!

The music played as the beginning sequence started, and Maxx knew she was addicted. Her eyes never left the screen as the magical (literally) game pulled her in. And then she was gone, her body pulled into the game itself. She found herself in Twilight town where the game began.

Chapter 1: Maxx
I woke up in an open space with posters lining every wall, struggle. What’s that? I thought as I got up and looked around.
"Who are you?" a sort of deep voice asked.
"Wah?" I turned to see a boy--two boys and a girl and a...thing. The boy that asked the question was wearing a belly shirt, sort of poofy pants and a funny looking beanie. I burst out laughing. "Eh? What’s so funny!?" Beanie boy asked angered.
"You laughin' at Seifer y'know?" the other boy asked. So his name is Seifer.
"Are you some kind of belly dancer?" I asked laughing again.
"What did you say!?" Seifer asked infuriated.
“Nothing, Nothing" I said waiving my hand shooing him away.
"You think you’re so hot!? I challenge you to a struggle match!” he spat
."What? Struggle?” I said looking at the posters lining the walls, still chuckling to myself.
"You'll see! Tomorrow, here, 12 o’clock! Don’t be late!" he said turning around and walking away.
Struggle? What do I do now? I thought to myself. I walked through the streets of this unknown town. Man I wish I had a walk through! I groaned shocked i hadn't freaked out yet, even though this was probably just a dream I started to get a little panicky.
“Hey you alright?" Another boy asked. I turned to see a young boy about a year or so younger than me behind him stood a chunky boy and a girl.
"I-I'm alright though I think I'm going crazy." I said stretching out from the huddled position I had taken.
"Hey I'm sure your fine." said the girl.
"What’s your name?" Asked the boy in front "umm..." I said trying to remember my own name. "Maxx!" I finally blurted out after a good 30 seconds.
“Nice to meet you Maxx I'm Hayner back here is Pence and Olette." Hayner said.
" Hey guys wait up!" another boy called as he ran up to us.
"Hey Roxas what took you so long?" Olette said.
"Sorry I slept in I had another dream!" The boy said apparently his name was Roxas. Slept in? How long was i huddled in the corner? I thought.
"Roxas this is Maxx. We found her huddled in a corner shaking she calmed down enough to talk. "Hayner explained.
“Oh thanks Hayner real sweet!" I said sarcastically.
“So Maxx how long have you been in Twilight Town? Do you know anything about the -- thief?" Roxas asked. Then grasping his throat."--,Hayner why can't I say--"Roxas continued.
" I don't know.--" Hayner grasped his too.” I can't say it either!" he said. Pence looked through some things piled on the ground.
"Our -- are gone too all the ones we took together!” Pence said coming up empty handed.
"You!" A sort of deep voice said I turned, who should it be, but my first friend Seifer. “Don’t be late!" He finished pointing a fat finger at me.
"Ok! Hey afterwards can you teaching my some belly dancing?” I called after him. He glared and stomped off his little posy followed
“What was that about?” Pence asked. The concern with the missing word forgotten.
"I've got a struggle match with Beanie boy over there” I explained.” what’s struggle anyway?" I asked. Hayner's jaw dropped.
“You don't know what struggle is??" He asked almost angry.
“No..." I said my voice small.
“What planet did you come from?" He asked Alright so I'll give you a quick rundown of struggle, so you get these clubs. "Hayner began Pence gave him a bright blue chunk of foam on a stick” You hit your opponent to make the balls drop like this" He hit Pence,
"ouch.” and sure enough some blue balls came out of nowhere.
"Then you collect the balls and whoever collects their opponent’s balls first wins. "Hayner concluded. I looked to the clock tower, about a half hour till my match with the belly dancer.
I looked at Hayner.
"What’s up with this Seifer dude what his problem is?” I asked looking toward the sandlot where I first came here.
"He’s just got a beef with everybody!" Hayner said.
"Yeah he thinks he’s so cool! But he’s not then he goes and frames us for stealing the--...oh yeah we should probably clear our names..."Roxas added.
"Oh yeah!" Pence said. "We have to go we'll meet you at the sandlot at 12 ok?" He finished grabbing Olette and Roxas's hands and running off.
"Make sure to practice!" Hayner said as he was running off with his friends. So what do I do? Practice Struggle? I’ll just look stupid I'll wing it when the time comes. Slowly ever so slowly the minutes pass after what felt like 3 hours I look at the clock 10 minutes passed. I looked down to realize that I wasn't wearing my robe like I was in my room. I never really cared about how I dressed I would usually just wear jeans and a t-shirt back in my world. Then I realized that I'm probably like CRAZY. But I was wearing something different so I'll just pay attention to that for now. I was wearing a skirt it was black and had zippers everywhere I had knee high socks they had stripes going up the side no not stripes but piano keys. I was wearing a jacket it was black too, long and it also had zippers everywhere it was chained down to my waist by linked studs. My shirt was purple with musical notes on it. I felt my head my hair was up in pigtails, I took them out and my hair barley was to my shoulders. Then it occurred to me am I still me?
"Am I?" I said my voice was the same. Well that I remembered. Then the clock struck 12.Wow time flies when you’re thinking about clothes.
"Ah your not late I didn't expect you to show!” Beanie boy said as I walked out. Crowds of people were around the center of the sandlot a fat guy came over and gave us a rundown of the rules and we went out to the middle.
"Maxx! Maxx!" My true friends (well as true as video games come) chanted against the ocean of “Seifer”s.
"Ok let’s do this keep your head till this is over Maxx." I said to myself and the whistle blew. The match had started. Before I could do anything Seifer had began hitting me with his foamy club.
"Ouch” I said answering his blows with one of my own. I collected the balls that dropped including what was left of mine. He tried hitting my again I dodged I missed he hit this went on for a good 3 minutes but felt like forever. Seifer didn’t seem to be paying attention to where the balls dropped just hitting me. Then I returned one of his blows with a swipe to the side and 4 pink balls appeared I collected them and the whistle blew.
"Maxx wins!" The fat man said.4 voices cheered. Others smiled some glared most booed. I won? But Seifer still had pink balls to loose?
"Wow Maxx maybe you should compete in the competition its really rare for someone to win against Seifer!” Hayner said.
We all went back to the gang’s hangout and talked about struggle and Seifer while we ate ice cream.
"So what are we going to do out school project on?" Olette asked
"Oh don't bring that up! We’ll do it..."Hayner said.
"Yeah? On what topic? Don’t tell me you haven't thought of one yet!" Olette said.
"We could do it on the weird things that are happening to me." Roxas suggested.
"Weird things?” I piped up.
"Yeah like these white squirmy things turned out to be the photo thief and he stole a bunch of pictures of Roxas and stuff.” Pence said. "Oh I've got it we could do the seven wonders!” He exclaimed. That was kind of random... I thought
"Seven wonders?” I asked.
"Stuff like every time you go down stairs it counts differently, weird stuff like that.” Pence explained.
"Awesome idea alright that’s what well do!" Hayner decided.
"Sounds good!” Olette said
"O-ok" Roxas said obviously unsure.
"What about you Maxx you seen older than us what do you have for summer homework?” Pence said. All eyes on me now.
"Hardcore gaming No homework here!” I said laughing. They joined in
"Not fair what games?" Roxas asked.
"Oh the usual Kingdom hearts series and Mario games” I said. Oh fudge this IS a kingdom hearts game!!
"What are Kingdom hearts games" Hayner asked.
"Err...um...see..."I searched through my pockets and found strangely the instruction manual,” This” I held it out for them. Whatever don’t question the universe.
"T-that’s me?" Roxas asked staring at the picture.” And the boy from my dreams..."He said taking the instruction manual.
"Um...yeah that kids name is Sora...and Kairi...Donald and Goofy and the King Mickey said pointing out the characters.
"Is that a duck?” Pence asked pushing past Roxas to get a better look.
"Heh yeah..."I said.” I guess it is..."
"Insane!” Pence said astonished. Wait a minute why did I have an instruction manual in my pocket? I looked around.
"I'll be right back.” I said running out the door. I ran to the sandlot past beanie boy and his crew and in the corner sure enough was my back pack! I ran and grabbed it and ran back to the usual spot. When I came back I held up my pack and laughed” I got it!!" and opened it up.
"What’s so special about that bag? "Hayner asked. Peeking over my shoulder to see what was inside. I searched until I found a piece of paper (blank (;' ' ) ) and a pencil(sharpened)and started to draw.
"What are you drawing?" Olette asked. And I held out a rough sketch of my friends and what I knew about them.
"What’s this about?” Pence asked taking the sheet and reading what I wrote about him. Seaming satisfied he handed it to Hayner who gave it to Olette who nudged Roxas.
"Huh?" and he grabbed the sheet.
"I'm logging the information that I found out about you guys keeping track of what I know.” I said rifling through my pack again and coming up with a notebook and opened it and wrote down a rough sketch of twilight town. Roxas handed me the paper.
"S-so this is all a video game?" Roxas asked.
"Yes and If we meet again I'll explain it all to you.” I said stuffing everything back in my pack and slinging over my shoulder.
"Wait your leaving?” Asked Pence. seemingly calm about this situation, they all were except for Roxas who was freaking out.
"Yeah if I survive this I'll come back to see you guys ok?" I smiled a worried smile.
"Survive?" Roxas said the gulped.
"This is a game and it has an ending and I just have to beat it. I have a walk through so it will be easier I'll tell you about my world if I come back. Well bye” I said. And before I knew it I was crying. They joined in.
"I-I'll miss you..."Said Olette tears were staining her pants.
"Hey hold you’re self together" Hayner said through short sobs.
"I guess I'll be seeing you..."Pence said.
"Bye”.
Chapter 2 Roxas
Just a few days ago she was here. She left just as fast as she came. Maxx is just gone. It was really weird because as soon as she came the weird stuff has been happening well only a few days of summer left I'll just have to make the best of it while I have it. A few more irrelevant thoughts passed through my minds until I drifted asleep to find yet another freakish dream about this boy Sora.
"Hey Ro--"Pence started but stopped just stopped, same with Olette standing next to him same with the birds in the sky same with everything. I noticed one thing moving-a girl blond in a white dress.
"Hey wait!” I called but all she did was smile and leave then time started again.
"--xas Olette's dragging me shopping and I want to know if you want to come?” Pence asked.
"Um...can't see you!” I said and started running. he yelled something back but I couldn't hear him. I’ve got to find that girl and I have a feeling that she's at the mansion that those" nobodies" took us(I read about them in the instruction booklet)I guess everyone forgot about us being a video game. I saw her in the window before when we were doing our school project and at my big struggle match, but I didn't check it out. Ok now is my chance to figure what’s going on! I burst through the gates and doors to be in what seems to be a ruined mansion I searched upstairs I couldn't go in one room and the ones downstairs were just boring. I searched until I found one room that was completely white the girl was in there then she explained everything. Well almost everything her name was Chapter 3 Maxx
"AH! HOW DO I GET OUT OF HERE!?"I screamed.” I ran around another corner. I pulled out the instruction manual" I haven't even left twilight town!!!! Where the hell is Sora??" I went back to the sandlot where this mess started. "Alright this is where I started so wait this is saying what to do as Sora....oh great....what do I do..."I moaned flopping onto the ground.*when you walk away you don't hear me say please oh baby don't go!*My phone? Wait I have a phone? I picked it up. "H-hello?” I asked.
"Maxx? I heard you got Kingdom Hearts 2! Let me tell you its lot of fun!!" Said some female voice into the receiver.
"Um...excuse me but who is this?” I asked.
"You mean you don't remember me??" The vice sounded hurt.
"Yeah now who are you and how do you know-- how do you know this number I don't even know this number!! "I said back.
"It's me Madi! from Gaia? You know Uber_ninja_Spy!! "She said exited again.
"Um....I'm afraid I don't recall.....hey have you beaten Kingdom hearts 2? Maybe you can help me!!"
"Yeah I’ve beaten it where are you?" Madi asked
"um the sandlot in twilight town...I have to find Sora replied.
"What? You don't find Sora you go to an automatic sequence and then you play as him." Madi said she sounds like a know it all.
"How do you start automatic sequences?” I asked looking around then heading for Main Street.
"You don't they start automatically that’s why they're called automatic sequences” She said yup she a know it all.
"What’s this?" I said as I peeked into a crack in the wall "Hey whatsyourface do I go through a hole in the wall?” I asked.
"You haven't been to the mansion?” Now she just sounded bored,
"Well this is a pretty traumatizing experience how was I to know to go through it......instruction manual....I'm stupid..."I took it out and skimmed through the beginning "alright I'll go search the mansion..."I mumbled to myself.
"Hold up If I'm going to help you we have to stay on the right page alright, what’s going on?” she asked. oh I wish she didn't ask that!
"We'll I started playing it I kinda well got sucked into it...."I said.
"Almost everyone that plays it does but where are you, not the game wise but you in real life?” She asked. Why does why want to know?
"Well now I'm in a small part with lots of trees...and I don't know where I'm going..."I said
"No no in REAL life not kingdom hearts like where do you live?" Madi asked
"I literally got sucked into the game as in I talked to Roxas and Pence and stuff I am really standing in front of some mansion like in the walkthrough” I said this girl's really starting to tick me off.
"oh crap not another one....wait a minute" Madi mumbled then I heard a click, I had half a mind to hang up but she said "another one" could that mean that another person had been sucked in?" hey you still there?" Madi asked.
"oh yeah I'm here” I answered
"I got a hold of my friend Sara she got sucked in too she can help were on a three-way-call right now" Madi said.
"Hi" Sara peeped.
"Alright so I'm in the mansion what do I do now?” I asked.
"Do you think that she could use the betwix?" Sara asked Madi.
"I'm not sure lets try it, Maxx go to the library on the first floor there is a door that’s not blacked off ignore the nobodies" Madi said.
"alright I'm in there are more nobodies do I get a weapon Sara?” I asked ducking a swipe of a nobody.
"Yeah think of a weapon any sword like weapon.” Sara said. The only thing going through my mind right now was finding Sora. Suddenly there was a weight in my hand I look down there was a key blade just like Sora's.I swiped at the nobodies nothing, again one disappeared.
"Wow this is so much more exhilarating when your actually here!!"I said swiping a the other one I dodged I swung again I hit it disappeared like the other one.
"Alright did you kill the nobodies?" Madi asked.
"Uh-huh..." I said.
Chapter 4 Madi
"...How do you open to the basement?” I asked Sara.
"I don't remember..."Sara whispered.
"Damn...Alright Maxx, where do you live? I need to patch your game system to the internet so I can get in the game too.” I said
"um...7275 gamer St..."She said I heard footsteps behind me, I turn around and who is it but my older brother Cedric.
"Madi I need some paper do you have any?” He asked rifling around my drawers.
"No I don't have any paper..."I said angered.” But I do want you to come with me on an adventure I need you to read stuff of the internet and help me when I need it. Can you do that for me?” I asked
"Yeah...I guess..."He said.
"Alright then!” I said. I grabbed a backpack and I shoved everything I needed into it. Instruction manual, Map of twilight town, Cell phone, Lots of blank paper, pencils, pencil sharpener. I think I'm ready.” Come on lets go!! "I said as I opened the window and climbed down.
"So this is one of those kinds of plans" He said as he climbed down too.
"We need to find 7275 gamer St..." I told him.
Eventually we found it a nice two story house I knocked on the door nobody answered, I knocked again. Nothing. I looked in the windows nobody. Something about the house made everything seem so still. I noticed an open window.” Come on!” I whispered to Cedric I circled around a corner then jumped into the building. Cedric opened the unlocked front door.
"Faceplam to the Madi! "He taunted.
"Hello?” I asked elbowing Cedric. "Anybody home we came to borrow Maxx's computer! The door was unlocked Hello??" I called. Silence. I walked around some more I went upstairs and called Maxx. "Maxx which room is yours?" Chapter 5: Maxx (man these chapters are getting shorter and shorter!!)
"What!? You’re in my house!?” I almost screamed.
"Yeah is it the one on the far left or is it upstairs? Come on Maxx do you want to get out of this?" Madi asked.
"Well yeah but where are my parents? What did they say?" I asked.
"There not here or horded in a room waiting to ambush me" Madi said.
"WHAT??" I yelled.
"Just kidding ouch they're not here!" Madi said.
"Well what do I do now? "I asked her for a while all I heard was opening doors and closing them then I hears "Ah!!" Then loud footsteps.
"Found it! Alright I just need to start a new game, Cedric attach this cable to the computer and one second....Alright !" Lets see if this works. Madi said whispered most of it.
"Who's Cedric? What going on? What are you doing?? "I demanded but it was a helpless attempt to get her attention.
"Maxx? Maxx you still there?" A male voice said.
"W-who's this!?" I asked alarmed.
"Man you ask so many questions, I'm Cedric Madi's brother and I need you to go to the white room can you do that?” He asked
"Um....sure..."I said I nervously left the library place and saw Roxas standing in front of me I ran beck in to the room.
"Maxx what’s going on? I head a door slam is you there?" Cedric asked.
"No...Roxas is out there." I whispered.
(OCC now I'm just improvising....I don’t remember what happens in the game and I cant really use the book... )
"Help Cedric what do I do? "I asked.
"OH I gotta go just run to the white room you have an instruction guide thingy use that!" Cedric told me as he hung up, I was alone. Why am I scared of Roxas? He's my friend he will understand...Maybe he'll be happy to see me!
"Hey Rox--"I shouted to an empty room. I looked around nothing. He must have gone upstairs I ran ignoring the nobodies that appeared. Two doors I run to the one on the left and found myself in a white room it was circular and Roxas was yelling at some guy in red. I called his name but he didn't hear me I didn't hear me it was like in the middle of a hurricane noise was all around but I heard nothing. The man in red disappeared and Sora opened out of a flower thing--Sora!! Then Roxas started to disappear I called his name over and over but I couldn't hear me. Then he was gone and Sora woke up, Donald and Goofy too the all rejoiced and talked for a while I just stayed quiet I finally got the courage to say something.”H-hello Sora..."He turned frightened, dork.
"Who's there?” He turned to see me standing shy beat up a little embarrassed by the corner of the room. I had one hand in my pocket the other waving a shy hand.
"I need your help.." I said staring at my shoes.
"What how do you know me?” He asked I think he's mad at me.
"I need to get home but first I need to beat the game"((OOC) Oh damn I lost the game!)I told him.
"What are you talking about?” He was getting really annoyed and felt the need to putt out his magical key blade of doom! (Scary ) unknowingly mine appeared but it was different, silver this time and not a key, but a real sword. The hilt had wings and angel the other dragon in the middle was a swirly heart blood red. I looked up Sora was ready to attack Chapter 6: Madi (wow already on 6?)
I started in the sandlot, I look around Seifer's gang was in the corner being all gang-like and whatnot. I sprinted to the mansion, man it feels good to be back! I run inside up the stairs into the white room where it has in fact transformed into a sleeping chamber, it worked! And it was being violent, Sora was about to hit a girl--Maxx!
"STOP IT!"I yelled and my weapon of choice was mind powers I shot Sora against the wall with a powerful blast of energy, and ran to Maxx's side. "Hey Maxx it’s me Madi, come on your safe now!" I said quietly helping her to her feet.
"Whoa...what just...how did you...why did he? What? "She asked.
"I’ve practiced lets go get Sora. "I said walking over the small huddled mass of a boy leaning against the wall.”Hey!" I said and kicked his shoe.” You’re alright um...here” I said digging in my pocket, pulling out a cell phone, and then called Cedric.
"You whatcha need?” He asked.
"Potions the kind like last time.” I said.
"Already? Geeze Madi you’re harsh.” He complained then sent me my tampered potions.
"Thanks call you later with an update” I said then hung up. I swayed the clear bottle in front of Sora. "Drink you'll need it" I said. He looked so scared like a little kitten in a storm. "Oh geese I should introduce myself, I'm Madi this is Maxx she’s stuck here and stuff we need help and it would be REALLY helpful if you don't try to kill her. OK?" I pulled a nicey smile.
"Um....ok?" He chocked out a small whisper but still managed to have his voice break on the only word in the sentence.
"Hey don't treat Sora like that!" Donald said behind me.
"Oh I'm sorry Hi there you must be Donald and Goofy Hi I'm Madi"I said turning around and smiling.
"Yes we are now, leave Sora alone or I'll--" Donald began getting cut off by Maxx.
"Hey can we all like not be mad I read the instruction manual and It said you" She pointed at Sora then continued” need to get home after finding your girlfriend. Well I need to get home too so maybe we can join together and stuff and find our ways home together and stuff" Maxx said then added "please" in a small voice.

I didn't know what to think, I just woke up after who knows how long and this girl is asking me to help her? What am I supposed to say 'sure I'll help you strange girl who knows a lot about me? Would you like fires with that?' but I can’t just say no that would crush her! Whats an instruction manual? Gah so many questions how am I supposed to answer them all!? My thoughts were interrupted by the girl Maxx saying "I'm not sure how to do this...please?" Her eyes were cold and menacing I can tell now that later she would be a fire cracker, a bomb waiting to explode. The other girl was a live fire heating things up and burning them down! Donald looked angry like always Goofy looked confused.
"I- um...I-I don't know!” I blurted. I flinched I expected the girl to throw me against the wall or something. Nothing I opened my eyes the were just talking not angry at all. “You guys aren't mad at me?” I asked
"whatever I think Cedric can patch us through and pull us both into the real world Maxx is freaking so I'll just take her home" Madi said She was looking up as if there was a hole in the ceiling and she was watching the stars form unknown constellations. Finally someone answered the other line; the volume on the phone was up to its maximum so everyone could hear the conversation.
"Yo whatcha' need?” The boy on the other line asked.
"A ride home do you think that you could bring us both back it doesn't have to be at the same time just get us both back into the real world" Madi said.
"We don't have enough power it won’t let us bring back even one! The server is blocked and I don't have the password nobody's getting home until this password is cracked give me time I bet i can figure it out.” The boy said I heard typing and clicking.” I’ll call you when I have it until then hold tight it shouldn't take too long" Then he hung up just like that, Geeze nobody says goodbye anymore!
"Well that sucks..."Madi said staring at her phone. It was a black ordinary flip phone but she wrote all over it with silver sharpie.
"Well you have an Instruction guide right?” She asked Maxx.
"Um... yeah..."Maxx said.
"Well then lets go, come one key boy were gonna beat this game knowing Cedric he's not gonna crack that code for a while. Maxx sorry but you'll have to deal with me until this game is done," Madi said. She held out her hand to help me up I pushed it aside and got up on my own. This weird twisted story seems to have just begun. chapter...no comment Sora
The girls talked about a lot of things some boy named Ryan a few bands I didn't know missing home.That conversation made me realize that I miss home a lot I wondered if I would ever see home again, but that didn't matter I probably would never see Kairi or Riku ever again...I missed them more than anything.
"Hey Goofy...Um...where are we going exactly?" I asked.
"Whelp I danno!" Goofy said.
"Oh..." I whispered. Madi nudged me.We were walking around aimlessly for a while when some squirmy white things appeared.
"Heartless?"Donald shouted.
"Nobodys!" Maxx called back her keyblade phased in her hand as did mine.Little did I know that the King would appear telling us where to go after taking care of the nobodys.
"I guess were going there..."Maxx said pointing to the train"I wonder where everyone is..." Maxx whispered.We bought some train tickets and set off.The train ride was long, but I got to know the girls a little more. Madi is an artist she pulled out some paper and drew a bunch crude pictures of me, it was funny. Maxx liked music, a lot of music she tried naming all the bands she likes she lost count around 27. Jimminy lost all our data in the journal he kept so I told them a rough outline of what happened the year before.
"So you like this girl Kairi?"Madi asked.
"Well..."I started. I hadn't realized I was blushing.
"Sure he does, he just doesn't know yet!" Donald explained for him.
"Donald!!"I said jabbing him in the side.
"And this Riku dude is like loopy and stuff?" Madi asked twirling her short hair around her finger.
"Not entirely...well..." I stammered.
"So he is ok got it!" She said."Oh shoot!"She suddenly exclaimed.
"What!?" Maxx asked.
"I forgot my ipod!!"Madi said tears welled in her eyes.
"Um..."We all said staring at the over reacting girl.
"GAH!Never mind I found it!" She said pulling out her ipod and blaring a loud song."This is a new song called 'That's What She Said' Its by 'Do It With Malice'. You might like them Sora come'ere" She continued plopping the chunky headphones on my head.The song was pretty cool I had to admit I wasn't sure what the singer was saying, but it sounded really cool.('That's what she said is a real song 'Do It With Malice' is a real band)I hadn't realized but Madi looked a lot like Kairi. Madi's hair was shorter and a lighter red, but she wore a tank top like Kairi's and a black choker like Kairi.But Madi wore baggy greenish pants with a stud belt keeping them up.
"What are you staring at?" She asked.
"N-nothing...!" I said blushing at the thought of her being like Kairi, she acted nothing like Kairi though.
"Hey Maxx what are you drawing?" Goofy asked.
"Stuff..." She said, she was engrossed in the art, "I got inspired when I saw Sora listening to music, so..." She said, Signing it I think then showed it to us. It was really cool, I looked like I was floating over a beach with the chunky headphones the words to the song(apparently she knew them) twirling around the headphones.
"Hey when I was talking to you on the phone you had so much, oh whats the word....spunk?" Madi said looking at Maxx."What happened?Your all shy and stuff now" Madi finished.
"Well I've come to realize how real this turned out to seem, I mean I've felt something hit me I've felt pain in something I thought was a dream. This is how I act at home so this is how I'll act around you guys." Maxx concluded, smiling at us.
"Garwsh looks like were here!" Goofy said pointing to a massive castle outside, where a fat fuzzy bear thing was being tortured.
"PETE!!" I said scampering out of the train.Shortly followed by Goofy then Donald, the girls simply left carrying their bags like it was no big deal.
Chapter: Moo Maxx
Over the course of about 7 hours, I met Sora and the gang, went on a train ride, met a powerful wizard and set off to Hollow Bastion.Today was pretty crazy, and it still wasn't half way over!
"Wow this place looks so different..." Sora said looking around.
"Yeah look they have shops!!" Donald said digging through a stand.
"Heartless." Madi said pointing to the falling black creature just as it was about to land on Goofy's head.
"Whoa!" He said dodging it a fiery ball destroyed the dark creature, before anyone else could finish it.
"Whoa is right!" Sora was amazed. Madi looked bored.
"Wow it really is you!Hi Sora!"A girl called from below.
"Yuffie!" Sora called.
"Its you and...and..."Yuffie stared hard at Donald and Goofy."RONALD AND ZOOFY!!!" she concluded.
"You mean--"I started.
"I meant what I said!"Yuffie huffed.
"It's Donald!"Donald yelled.
"You can call me Zoofy if you want, but my real name is Goofy" Goofy said as he attempted to curtsy .
"And who are you guys!?"Yuffie asked twirling around.
"I'm Madi and this is Maxx.We're travailing with Sora to get home."Madi said.
"COOL!!Everybody is working really hard to make Hollow Bastion a safe happy place, 'home' if you will"Yuffie was smiling when she said it.
"The castle look amazing!You guys must have worked really hard!"Sora said looking at the castle in the distance.Suddanly Madi's phone rang.*YOUR PHONE IS RINGING PICK IT UP!!!!*It screamed.She must have recorded it then set it as her ring tone, with a ring tone like that anybody would answer it! She answered.
"What!?" She yelled.Still the volume on the phone was up to its max.We could hear every word the other person was saying.
"Hey, calm down.I've got it working you wanna leave?"Cedric asked.
"Really?Cool. Yeah we'll go."Madi said.Sora Donald Goofy and Yuffie all seemed disappointed.
"But you just got here, I've got lots to show you!!"Yuffie pleaded.
"CRASH!!"Crackled through the phone.
"What happened?"Madi asked.
"I tripped and dropped the phone.It's ok now...I think."Cedric answered.
"You THINK?" Madi steamed.
"I know!Everything is fine, I'm going to patch you through now."He said.
"Alright, Everyone step back I'm not quite sure how this works..."Madi warned.Then waited.Nothing."Cedric whats going on?Nothing is happening!"Madi scolded her brother.
"Um......I don't think that was supposed to happen....Madi, where's he fan for the computer?"Cedric asked.
"Cedric what did you do?" Madi replied in question.
"Well the computer overheated.......And I have to re program everything.*Blip Blip* The entire memory is wiped...Madi you think you can stand it there for like 2 more days?I haven't slept at ALL"Cedric begged.His voice sounded strained.
"Whatever call when it's ready." Mad said and hung up."Worthless piece of--"
"What's going on?" Maxx whispered.
"So about that castle!"Madi said.
"First let's go see the others"Yuffie.We turned around the bend to find a totally ordinary building.Before we could get in a girl fell in front of us a heartless on top of her.
"GWAH!!!GET OFF GET OFF!!!" She screamed running around.That's just about when Sora drew his keyblade.
"What do you think your doing!?" She girl asked.She was standing still now, her dark brown was whisking around her face and the heartless was resting on her shoulder.
"Getting that thing off you!!!" Sora said pointing at the heartless with his keyblade.
"Well just to let you know this 'thing' has a name!!" The heartless said with a distinct British accent.
"WHAT!?"We all said turning to the small black creature.
"My name is William, and I'd appreciate it if you would put that thing away! " William said,as we jumped off the girls shoulder and pushed the keyblade aside walking past Sora like nothing happened.
"W-What???" Madi said like melting.
"Wait, why were you yelling to get it--William off you?" Goofy asked.
"I'm ticklish..." She aid blushing while looking at her feet.
"Wait so you mean to say that William is you pet?" Donald asked looking at the tiny creature.
"I MOST CERTAINLY AM NOT HER PET!!" William said, his small black face was suddenly a dark purplish red."I am her FRIEND!!!" He continued."And judging by your taste in friends you have a few screws loose!" William was having a full out battle of the wits with Sora, we could all see the winner."Paling around with over sized dogs and loudmouth ninjas!You're all just a load of rubbish!" Now William was waving his tiny hands in the air.
"Will, I think they just misunderstand I mean you remember how I used to be?" The girl said picking William up and placing him in a small bag on her side. "Oh!I forgot, my name is Kimberly." She said holding her hand out to Sora."You must be Sora, I've heard about you"
"What?How?" Sora asked.
"Do you think she's from our world?" I asked Madi.
"Maybe.." Madi answered."Hey can I talk to you in private?" Madi asked Kimberly.
"Sure!"Kim said smiling.William jumped out of her bag and scampered off to kick Sora's toes.Sora was jumping up and sown when the girls slipped around the corner.
Sora was clinging to his foot when he said"I don't think he likes me..."
"Me nither!" I said chuckling."Hey William why are you the only heartless that, you know, talks?"
"Well I'm not exactly sure...We came here to find a powerful witch to tell me why.I found Kim in Traverse Town not too long ago, now we're here looking for Mafecent"
He answered.He was sitting on the railing looking at the base of the castle."HOLY FRIED LOBSTER BUTTER CHIPS!!!WHAT THE BLAZES IS THAT!?" William was standing now pointing at the bottom of the castle where a black mob of heartless swarmed.
"Are those all heartless?" Sora asked in disbelief.
