I believed you loved me,
The things you said.
I believed you cared,
I believed it in my head.
My heart believed also,
What my head believed too,
That I could never be hurt,
Ever hurt by you.
I wanted to deny this,
Pretend it wasn't real.
But as much as I've been hurting,
My pain is all I feel.
I weep in sadness.
I weep in hurt.
I weep for my heart.
That you stomped in the dirt.
I hate you for doing this.
For your selfishness and greed.
For doing what I couldn't believe.
That you would ever, ever hurt me.
