Today I was pretty happy. =] I haven't been absolutely happy in a while. Honestly, since sophomore year's started, I've crawled halfway back under that rock that's I've been living under since I first started elementary school.
It was picture day today. =] I didn't dress particularly special. I just wore that gray shirt with the pink haerts and black design from Arizona. And I wore that black sweater with pink hearts that I have. The only thing that I particularly wanted to wear was my Ryuk necklace. xD I just had to have that in the picture lol!
English was a breeze since pictures took up some time. All we did was talk about the 9th book of th Odyssey. I seriously need to contribute more to the discussion. Really. T___T Am I brain dead?? Or maybe my hands lacks the natural instinct to shoot up as soon a question is asked or a comment is made, like everyone else. ><''
Global was alright. We just went through a long powerpoint presentation. I got a LOT of notes from it. xD
Chemistry was alright too. The quiz was fairly easy although a small part confused me. I asked Mr. Jacobs about it after class though and I got it right apparently. =] Or so I think. xD
Well, Gym was fun. ^^ Well the usual really. We finally had our lay up tests! Like ages after the other classes lol. Afterwards me and Regina went to play basketball with Andrew, Brian and that brown dude from Chem class whose name I don't know. Oh and Jason. I was kind of just standing around most of the time because I didn't really want to do free throws. xP I wanted to play an actual game which took a long while to do because there were three balls there and people weren't willing to put a couple back lol. But eventually we got around to a game. I was on Mohammad and Brian's team. It was us vs. Jason, that brown Chem class dude, and Andrew. But seriously, why are people under the impression that I'm good at basketball?? I mean, I guess I'm not that bad....but still, if it seems like I'm good, it must be luck!
Tech Drawing was pretty fun. =] We did some more work on the drawings of the block figures. =D
After that, during lunch I had to finish working on my Tech Drawing stuff. I finished the clock before but I had to redo half of it because my thingy converted to a .bak file which I couldn't open. I told Mr. Rabel about it but he told me that he'd never heard of that happening before. xD He seemed kind of shocked lol. But anyway, it wasn't that much work the second time around. It was fairly easy. So, I finished it during 6th and I printed 9th period. Also, I made a new friend 6th period. It all started with this dude next to me asking what time it was and me telling him. =D And then eventually we just ended up talking. =] He's a freshman named Tariq. He was working on his Research Literacy term paper...Allah, I'm so glad to be through with that. T___T Tech Drawing is beyond better than Research Lit lol! Anyway he was a pretty nice dude. Kind of like Arjun. Nice people are quite noteworthy because I haven't met many new people this year that I just auto-click with. =D Most people have some sort of awkward atmosphere arond them when I talk to them. Or at least that's how I felt in the beginning of Chemistry class. Now I guess I know some people in that class.
Anyway, Latin was pretty boring. The quiz was okay. Actually it turned out to be a test. xD My bad. xD Well I think I did fairly well on it anyway.
Math too was alright. The test was SO easy! Ms. Y is so nice! =] She makes the tests really easy and she even postpones them if she thinks people don't understand stuff. =D
After that was 9th where as I said I printed my stuff. Then I went up to play piano. Yay =]! I played some more of This is Halloween. =D
Afterwards was Japanese Cultural Club which OMG so much fun! It was great seeing everyone there altogether again! We had snacks and talked about what we're going to do in the future in the club. I sat in the emo corner of roon 108, or at least that's what Yuna called it lol --- in the bacl right corner. xD And in front of me was Karen. Then Yuna. Then Noelle. Then Gina (from English class =]). And to my left was Jenny, who was so kind as to bring Pocky sticks!!!! =D I hogged. xD I also got to see some more of her awesome artwork. =D
Anyway aside from handing out club photo pix and getting down some future club ideas, we just talked. A LOT. That is one loud club lol. I kept thinking that there should be such a thing as an Anything/Everything club where people gather just to hang out with there friends. Wouldn't that be great lol? Getting club credits for hanging out!? Lol. =]
Anyway, Karen made some very pretty drawings!!!!!!!!! =]
After I ate my nachos, I asked Hera to take me to the bathroom so I wouldn't get lonely. xD And after I washed my hands, she splashed water on me! So I ended up getting vengeance and chasing her back to the room lol. And threatening to lick her white jacket. xD
Anyway, it was lots of fun! I ate Karen and Yuna's arms. =D
And after club, we went to Yuna and Salma's locker in the basement and just talked and stuff. xD And then we went outside and met Hera who had gone to her locker as well. =] I met this new freshman too named Diana. She's Yuna's freshie. xD I think. Lol. Well, she was so sweet and adorable! It's so cute how she nodded really fast to questions and blinked a lot. xD It was kind of like she was hyper, but in a nice way. I really liked her. =D I also met this freshie who was in Jap Club named Jeremy. He SO looked like a sophomore to me. xD Probably cause he dresses really cool and emo-ish. xD And Hera's all happy cause he likes SlipKnot lol. He was listening to music the whole time. I guess I kind of ot that aloof impresison from him, which made me think he aws a soph. xD
Anyway, after meeting the new freshies, me Karen, Yuna, Salma, and Hera went down to the bus stop. Actually we stopped halfway down the block to stare at the yellow moon and howl at it! xD Lol Salma did the most howling. ;] And then we took pictures of the moon and with each other. =D Lol this dude, probably a senior I think, who was Hera's friend came by and while we were taking the pictures, he was like "You dropped your pocket" and I actually looked down LOL. And he called us, the soph people, freshies lol. xD I probably won't remember his face though. Too bad, he seemed like a nice dude. =D
Anyway, after we got to the train station, Karen and Hera left. I went into the train station once just to have a look inside. xD My second time inside since Queens Center Mall! Woo!
Lol. And then I bought cookies and shared them with Salma and Yuna. Then the bus came. =] We talked the whole ride about planning to go volunteering on weekends and ice skating over Thanksgiving break. =]
It felt so nice to be able to talk so freely with people like that again. Not that I haven't been...but something was just different and off about this whole year so far. I think that was it. =]
Oh yeah also, when we about to leave through the cafeteria entrance there were people running and this guy (looked like a teacher) was asking us why we couldn't leave through the other door and I was like "Cause this door's prettier. xD" and he was just like "Cut it out." He wasn't really yelling at us or anything but Salma thought he was rude. I guess if I was alone and he had said that I might have felt embarassed or something but it was okay. That was right before we went out and howled at the moon. xD
Well, when I got home, basically all I did was play keyboard. =] I'm getting better at Houkiboshi gradually.
Also, Amma stubbed her toe and broke the nail in the hallway because people dropped glass there. =[ Yet somehow I don't feel particularly bad. That's why I'm an emotionless freak...
