NOTE: Just kind of a story I've been working on for my senior project and for recreation. Hope you like smile . (--->=where an indent should be since Gaia hates me as much as It can.)
--->I've never liked mirrors. They are pesky things only there to remind us of that which we rather not be reminded of. Showing us what we wish not to see:
--->Ourselves.
--->And now, as I gaze at a mirror, I still do not believe the girl in its glass pane is me. Straight, to-the-shoulder, auburn hair, once many years ago, bleached white in the sun. Skin as pale as the snow outside, falling so softly that not even the ground, itself, can hear or feel it.Her eyes, oh her eyes. Lapis lazuli, blue. Sapphire, even an innocent ocean's blue. Wide with wonder, like a child's, yet with the Wisdom of Ages long past.
--->Okay, so I haven't even had 100 years since my "rebirth", only 83.
--->And, as much as I wish against it, will for the mirror to just, please, lie to me; this woman, this... being is me. Stuck forever at fifteen.
