My essay MUST be perfect! We started the english essays for Fences today and all I did was outline. I didn't even exactly decide on a poem yet, since I'm not exactly sure what the last stanza of "My Papa's Waltz" meant. Emily told me during gym that the clinging has something to do with the rib cages of drunk people inclining inwards. I sort of took it as a sign of love from the boy to the father although that didn't make sense to me since the father had just hit the boy. I may end up using "Harlem" by Langston Hughes. Actually, I did a pretty long outline for that, so that's my best bet on this essay. MUST be PERFECT. 0_0 *hyperventilates mentally*
Global was kind of boring. We finished those maps of the British village's growth overtime. Ah the wonders of the transformation from poor peasants to unfortunate underpaid factory workers. v__v
Chemistry was interesting. We learned a pretty new concept today about orbitals of electrons. I'm a little confused about one of the rules about them because he didn't go over an example of the third one. I'm not sure how you can tell if the electrons in a pair are rotating in the same or in a different direction and how that affects the configuration.
Gym was a lot of fun today! ^^ I met some new people today. =] I actually made like my first senior friend. 0_o Wait no...I have senior friends because my old junior friends are seniors this year. xD But I made my first senior friend during their senior year. xD Her name was Ellie, and she was really nice. We played basketball together with Regina, Bushra, Judy (that girl thats kind of good at basketball, i think she might be a freshman, i met her today) and that short asian girl whose usually with Bushra (i forgot her name >< wink . It was me, Judy and the short asian girl versus Bushra, Ellie, and Regina. Me and Judy make a good team. xD I feel kind of bad because we didn't pass to the short girl enough. I'll play with her more nexttime hopefully. =]
Me and Judy made a pretty good team. I actually, for once, didn't feel like I sucked that much because I was alright with the lay-ups and I got in a shot in the game. =] I think the game was 4:3. My team lost, but it was still tons of fun! ^^ I hope we can do that again nexttime. I like it when Mr. Gregory's class plays with our class. ^^
Tech Drawing was just as fun. =] Mr. Rabel finally checked our large hand drawn border projects. I got a 90%. I think he might have been generous with my grade, though, it didn't feel like a 90 to me. After that, I worked on my screwdriver. I'm almost done. I just have to do the break which will be pretty easy I think. And then, on to the hammer. =] Tech Drawing is so much fun. xD Sadly...what sucks is that the printer doesn't work. =( Whenever I try to print my weave, it doesn't print.
Lunch was pretty fun. We didn't go to the Physical Science department again. I think we're getting used to chatting and being lazy. xD Me, Amy, and Milly went to my locker after we ate so I could put away my drawing. And then we just hung out outside of my Latin class again with Christie. =]
Latin was okay. We just ---MY HANDS ARE COLD--- did some translations with datives.
Math was easy, I think. Yet somehow I make silly mistakes still. I'm guessing I'm not one of the people who got a 100% on yesterday's test. xP
Ninth period was alright. I went out with Amy and Lindah and I bought a Sunkist, but then I just ditched them. I didn't even say bye. xD I just saw my bus and I was like...I wanna go home. xD So I went with Teresa. =] I invited her to come with me, Amy, Lindah and Karen tomorrow to Queens Center Mall too, so I hope she can come. ^^ The more the merrier? =D
I'm glad I got home early. Just enough time for Zuhr. =] And I'd better go do Asr right now. Then, I've got to created the greatest outline in poetential existence for my essay tomorrow! *gets all hyped and motivated about an essay xD*
