Tell me why

These are hard times in which we live
so many dying young
too many victims to war
Why are our leaders build more jails and prisons than schools
incarcerating minds of different thought
poisoning minds of the future
deceiving masses as a whole
Making it harder for the poor
pushing the distressed to their limits
breaking the constitution, but we all are supposed to equal.
Witnessing the evil done in the name of God
killing people instead of forgiveness
saying we are Christians but actions show otherwise
willing to condemn our brothers instead of helping them
The only question that should be asked is why
why all the suffering
why so much pain
why is the world so cruel
