Tonight was so awesome! It was eighth grade night at the local high school, so that meant the 8th graders in band got to hang with the band almost the entire time. It was awesome!

I got to meet the other percussionists from the other middle school feeding into that high school, they're hilarious. I can't wait to see them again, which will be in about a month. ^ ^

I got to play on the high school marching instruments and everything. The bass was fun to play, and the tenors rock! I can only imagine how heavy they are! That means I gotta get stronger, which'll kinda be hard to do, but I'll manage somehow.

I can't wait. High school's gonna be a blast! *bouncing up and down in excitement* But I still gotta try to make drumline. That's my goal, to make drumline my freshman year. Kinda corny, but I really wanna do it. That way I can prove that I'm not just a sucky freshman, like some of the ones this year. ^ ^

I can't wait until I get to see my percussion buddies again! It's gonna be a blast!
