For instance, why would they put an open/close button on a DVD player remote? You have to get up to take the disk out anyway, so what's the point? I don't think I've ever used that button...
We had these new high-tech overheads at school, and they didn't shut off until the light bulb cooled down. Well, the bulb can't cool down if it's still on. I don't see the logic behind that.
I don't get why people turn their cars on with the remotes. You still have to put the key in the ignition and restart it for the car to go. What's the point of turning it on before you're even in it? It's just a waste of energy. But what do I know, right?
