did u think the 1 from yesterday was sad? or weird?....i think it was pretty gewd....
anyways, i started writing my story, n well, check it out so far:
Chapter 1
The smell of meatloaf clung in the air, mixing with the muggy hot day. It needed to rain bad here. I stopped in line waiting for Marty, my little sister, to grab her tray. Ugh, Marty thought, teachers in this school are so boring to be hanging around with. I laughed. I whispered so that no human could here our conversation. “Today is a big mess. The smell of people and meatloaf is terrible, especially on a day like this…” They are only human ya know, Em. They can’t smell perfect ALL the time…and, well, as for the meatloaf, I got to agree with you on that one…humans, she snorted, what can I say?
I laughed aloud, and Jennifer Wilson looked at me, like it was the first time she’d heard my voice. Marty followed my eyes. She’s a pig. A pure spoiled brat, She needs a good lesson taught to her…what do you say? She laughed out loud this time, but my face was locked on Jennifer. She pointed her nose up in the air and thought, What a person. She’s so…so…different! Why can’t she act normal for once, she’s got everything it takes to be a popular girl like us, the looks, the talent, but she’s just so weird…
I turned away at an instant, moving up in the line. The lunch woman, with an ice cream scooper, scooped out the meatloaf, and plopped it onto my tray. My nose burned from the terrible smell of it all. I walked along, paying for my food, and going to sit down at the usual table, where Marty and I always sat. Marty followed me quickly. Have I mentioned that someone’s been looking at you a lot today? She smiled and looked over at someone I hadn’t ever noticed before. He was, from what I could tell, no ordinary person who attended Lincoln High. He was tall, he had muscles that were a little larger than average, dark blue eyes, light blonde hair, and..well…he was beautiful. He looked up after his friends nudged him in my direction. I couldn’t help but stare at him. He’s a cute one, Marty thought, and giggled. She’s really something…He thought. I giggled. I saw what I’d looked like to him…I was stunning. I giggled again and looked away; but kept my mind locked on him and his friends.
“Dude, go over and talk to her” John said, playfully.
“Yeah, man. Dude, David” Ah, so that’s his name “She actually looked at you” Robert said.
“And?” David asked
“And! Dude, she’s like the hottest girl in our whole entire school! She doesn’t look at anyone, ever! And man, the best part is, she’s not even a prep!” All the boys barked a laugh and kept on telling him to go. The bell rang soon enough, but the boys still bugged David to get up and talk to me.
“Alright, alright…gosh” David said. I would like to talk to her…maybe we have a class next together…I mean, I just switched schools so I have a new schedule..maybe we do…David thought.
“Em! C’mon, we got to get to class!” Marty called to me. I got up and started to walk with Marty. I waved bye when she went to the 900 wing. I noticed someone approaching me…David. He’d finally reached my side, and I looked over at him.
“Hey” He said smiling.
“Hello” I smiled back.
“So, I’m David. You are?”
“Emma, Emma Pollin. Nice to meet you David” I said, smiling.
“You too. So…what’s your next class?”
“Science, room 709”
“Cool, me too” And the rest of the way, David and I talked amongst ourselves, making jokes, giggling, like we were already best friends. We’d made it to class, and I sat down in my usual seat, the third row on the left. David followed me, sitting right next to me.
