put out my eyes
written by: rainer maria rilke. from the manga presendent dad: vol. 7
put out my eyes, and i can see you still;
slam my ears to; and i can hear you yet;
and with out any feet can go to you;
and toungless, i can conjure you at will;
break off my arms, i shall take hold of you;
and grasp you with me heart as with a hand;
arest my heart my brain will beat as true;
and if you set this brain of mine afire;
then on my blood-stream i yet;
will carry you.

when i read this poem...
i nearly almost cried...
as a poet this the best by far...
i know that i haven't written any as good as this,
so Mrs. rainer Maria Rilke where ever you are i thank you,
for writing something good and i hope one day you get to read
one of my poems that are almost as great as yours...
