it's happening again, my world is crashing down
i dropped the fragile glass, watched it shattered at my feet
unraveling before me, in a thick and heavy heap
my heart is sinking weakly, to shadows it has known
blue drowns slowly again, this pain that i now own
but i need to keep composure, avoid the urge to weep
for all the love i feel, it's not for me to keep
i hear the screams, hiding deep within my soul
but i'll smile happily, as i bitterly watch them go
this time i'll leave it all in peices, i never fix it right
so maybe i'll sit and fade, quietly into the night
