Lol I'm gonna try writing part of this on here comment on it I don't care.



Mia ran as fast as she could, trying not to scream. Screaming would get her noticed, which was the last thing she needed.
She ran almost blindly, darkness was starting to descend on the valley, the darkness of night. From the glow of her light she could see pretty far infront of her and chanced a look back. There was smoke and black fire coming from the direction of her village. She held back tears of misery and rage, it would only slow her down. Mia picked up speed, weaving in and out of trees as fast as she possibly could. If it got dark now she would be a sitting duck, an easy target.
Mia jumped when she heard the sound of a twig snapping behind her. She needed to make it to the portal or she'd be dead. Or worse...
There was definetly something behind her. She glanced back, but couldn't see it. Mia knew she wouldn't be able to see it anyway, the thing blended in with the darkness and she wasn't about to risk going back to see it. She vagely saw its form running behind her then saw more movement to the right. There were more of them. There was no way she'd be able to get away...
