I run down the hallway, my magnum pistol in hand, trying to reach it before the demon gets close enough to me. My breathing started to get heavier, and I noticed I wouldn't make it. I started to slow down, but I pressed myself to continue moving, making my heart push its limits. I finally reached the elevator, and pressed the button for it to arrive for me, and the moaning of the creature grew louder. "Hurry up you son of a b***h didn't come this far to die!" I yelled, as I hit the door, and it binged, then the doors opened, and there stood a creature, which stood at 7"7 and had a fire ball inside its hand, then aimed it at me, then I noticed that my time had run out. The fire ball erupted through my chest, and passed through, then my body collapsed and I fell, limp. My vision blurred in and out as my life ended in that quick few seconds. Seven years later, a military space craft arrived at the site to inspect what had occured that day. It carried 8 soldiers total, trained for almost anything, but this was one of the things they were not trained for. They arrived at the hangerbay, and they started to move into the base, slowly. The lights flickered on and off Blood covered the walls, and there was a demonic taste to everything. In that instant they knew something was not right there, and they continued on to inspect the facility. They kept in touch with base until 10 minutes after landing, which there was only screaming heard over it. They were no longer heard from, the military decided something happened there, and it would only be wise to destroy the base. The missles hit the base, and it was destroyed, and only the echo's of screams can be heard now from that area.
