To my cat, Bug

Dear Bug,

I wished every second that you we're here ever since you disappeared on October 30, 2006. Until this day I still mourn the loss of you. You were always such a unique and special cat. Ever since the day you crawled from the kennel you were born in on my grandmothers porch, I knew you were special. Your bright blue eyes were always filled with adventure and hope. And ever since you were the first to climb the chair on my grandmothers porch I knew then and there that you were a born leader, someone ment for so much more then just any ordinary cat.
The day when you were still so little when we took you away from your mother and brothers, you whinned so loud still searching for them....but at the same time we had saved you from their death.
You were still so little that you couldn't eat solid food, so my brother fed you chewed up jerky.... you still whinned at night in the hotels on the way home. I remember comforting you and staying by you in your kennel so you wouldn't feel alone. I wanted so bad to take you in my arms and cradel you,... you were just so little and I couldn't bare your crying.
When we arrived home you were thrilled to finally be off the road, you were also over whelmed with the curiousity of being in a forign place. At first our other cat Jane wanted nothing to do with you, but she would soon be more like a mother to you then you realized.
We taught you everything Bug, you knew that you could sit on the bench next to the table when we ate, but you knew you couldn't touch the table. You knew how to catch your tail through the backs of the chairs, how to get under the rug, open doors, come when called, and even use the toliet.
You were so cheerful, social, energetic, and loving. I only wish that some way Bug, that you hadn't gone away. I wish you could have stayed with us forever Bug, your love changed us in ways we couldn't even believe.
When you were gone, everybody was drawn back. I cried for months, knowing that I would never see your face, never feel your love. Nobody, nothing, can ever replace you Bug. We still miss till this day Bug, and I will never stop searching for you.
