From a diffrent day ill write another page from another book i have yet to write. As a youngin Falchion was trained at wizards keep. The large castle and surrounding grounds are in itself a small city, with multiple races living in harmony. The common goal of training young wizards and developing young minds... at Wizards Keep the long days will make anyone tired, sore, and run down. Training in every aspect of life from the education in weapons of every size, shape, and manner. Strategy in combat and movement, land navigation, magical arts mainly defensive magic but a hand ful of good offense. Lightning is the favorite. "Those who fear the dark have never seen what the light can do" now theres a keeper. The blind fighting was the hardest to learn. You try boxing in the dark against three grown men. The armor of a mage cannot be steel but with the proper incantation the long coat of leather can be harder than any metal and with good hands the armor should never be needed. the last test before going out into the world is to be paired off with another mage of equal age size and ability and to duel until submission...
