=Main Character=
Name: Bayne Tarrok
Age: When he fell through the rift, he was 29. It is unknown how much time passed between then and now, but he looks the same and his physiology was not affected.
Sex: Male
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 176.2 Pounds
Race: He is of a race called Arvahite. Born into the kingdom of Arvahel, his kind are natural born warriors and carry with them great stamina, endurance, and coordination. He appears human in every way. In fact it might be argued that Arvahite is simply the name for Humans of his world.
Class: Swordsman, Warrior.
Weapon Specialty: The Sword of Justice. It has been the only weapon that has remained at his side throughout his life. While he has experience with all variety of swords and various other weapons, he has trained with Justice every day for the past two decades of his life. He knows its better than he knows himself, and that knowledge reflects in the way he fights.
Powers:
-=Severance=-
Bayne is an imposter on Divanon. He is not one of her children, nor a being from the dimension in which she exists. His arrival has now threatens the chains of prophecy by introducing a figure that is not bound by the books of Fate. All that was once written may now be compromised if he intervenes. All this means is that Bayne is not bound by Destiny. An example is a climactic battle between a figure of good and one of evil. While prophecy might state that they cannot be slain before that certain time, he could slay either one as he is a rogue variable. This power neither helps nor hinders him. It simply exists, as he is a violation of the natural order of things.
-=Avatar=-
In his land Bayne was the Avatar of Justice, a hero who had been raised to a near Demigod state through hit feats and his actions. He is still a mortal, but the Gods had opened his ears to their voices, making him a conduit between the Planes of Divinity and reality. Having been completely severed from Arvahel and the dimension in which he existed Bayne is no longer in contact with the Gods of his world. However, his mind is still opened to such frequencies. With time he might come to recognize the voices of Divanon’s pantheon. Assuming that there is one.
-=Mage Killer=-
Bayne carries the withered hand of long dead Archmage with him. This man was Gorhun the Mad, and so strong was he in life that his power has not completely extinguished after death. The hand grants him protection from minor magic and cantrips, but the hand MUST be pointed towards the caster or the direction of the approaching magic.
Weaknesses:
-=Barbaric=-
Bayne has had absolutely no exposure to technology, mechanics or electronics. He has the technological knowledge of a man from the 12th century.
-=Arvahite=-
Because of his race, Bayne is exceptionally strong, dexterous and resilient. However he has no grasp on the practice of magic. As such he has no knowledge on how to use or combat it beyond the use of Gorhun’s hand.
-=Foreign World=-
Divanon is an utterly foreign world to Bayne. As a consequence of this, Bayne's immune system has never been exposed to the diseases and sickness of Divanon, nor has it been exposed to the foods. This is a subtle but potentially lethal change in his environment.
Magic Specialty: Not a thing.
Fighting Style: Self taught dual blade fighting, Highland Blade (single sword, no shield) and Standard (single sword + shield)
Personality: Extremely passionate. He has the heart and soul of a Champion and the blood of heros courses through his veins. He sees the world as what it is, a bastion of hope and life. No matter what evils besiege it, it is his sworn duty to defend it and he will do so to his last breath. He has faith in his people, and as such is very trusting and open with them. However, where he lands as he falls through the rift might change that forever.
Description:
Bayne, in full armor and regalia:
((Note that Bayne does not have a Helmet. It restricts his vision, and so he opts to not wear one.))
A close up of Bayne's facial features:
((Yes, I am aware that is the Prince of Persia >_> Not my fault Bayne looks almost exactly like him! scream ))
Physique: Bayne stands tall at 6'2" and weighs 182 pounds. He is extremely fit and is conditioned to survive bitter seasons and battles. He bears with him many scars, the most prominent being several notches in his side, a long gash running vertically across his back, and a scar that runs from the left corner of his mouth up towards his left eye.
