Slipper

What did Cinderella do when she lost the slipper.
Did she know that the prince would find the slipper or it have been a complete stranger.
When the prince came to the door with the missing slipper didn't she want the scream out "it's me" but, can't as she is pushed out of the way.
Did the prince know that the girl in rags was the girl of his dreams.
What if the slipper fit her stepsister and he made her his bride.
And Cinderella stayed in her rags until she could get away from her stepmother.
So could there be a happy ending either way the story goes
