This summer i have already went 2 my 2 camps! A week per camp @.@ I'm totally pooped! My first camp was a Science Camp and UV! It was fun! We went on trips, and did a whole bunch of expiriments! That is a good place 2 remember :]
My second camp was a place called Camp Carson! Wat a fun camp that was! They had cool cabins, but since i went there for mainly horse bak riding, we slept in WAGONS!!!! haha isn't that cool? I took pictures at both camps, but theres more 2 say about Camp Carson than there is 2 tell about UV.
At Camp Carson, they had a beautiful lake ^^ I luved swimming in it and it was just the coolest ever! They had a zipline, a thing called the rave, which was like a trapoline floating on water! And they had a big rope swing, and a thing called "The Blob"!
I didn't want 2 try The Blob, and they were fixing something for it anways, so it didn't matter... The Blob is when 1 person stands at the end of The Blob nearest 2 the water, then another person jumps down and it pushes the person up in2 the air and then in2 the water!
And they had way more than just the lake!
They had Arts and Crafts, Nature, Pottery, Alpine tower, which the Alpine tower is a big wooden tower thing with little swings and ladders on it that u climb and try 2 get 2 the top! It was amazingly fun!
They had of course horse bak riding, Dirt bikes, swimming lessons, boating, sailing, and LOTS MORE!!!!!! Boating is like Kyaking or Canooeing! I went Kyaking there with my sister! It was a complete adventure!
I also went Sailing, which is when u get in a Sail Boat thing, and there is this lever u use 2 turn the boat. There is 2 ropes attached 2 the Sail, and when u have wind u pull on it so the boat won't tip. If u DON'T have wind, u just let go of it and grab it when u do.
While Sailing, u have the option 2 tip the boat! Only about 3 ppl can sit in the boat, and theres a little hole part where u wuld THINK u sit in, but, u only put ur feet in it. So u have 2 sit ON THE BOAT! But since ur feet r in the hole, u won't slip out as easily.
We decided 2 tip the boat, and of course we had life jackets on, the water was deep under us.... Who knows HOW deep tho...
Every1 in the boat leans over 2 the side and lets the boat start 2 turn over on it's side. Alot of ppl think the Sail wuld drop on them and drown then, but it doesn't. There is a part where the boat is and then there is the pole which holds the sail, so when the boat tips over, u r between the sail and the boat.
1nce the boat is tipped over, u swim over 2 the other side, so ur facing the part that is usually facing the water for the boat, u know, the bottom part.
On the bottom of the boat there is a thing of wood sticking out of it. It's like a plank. xD But it's shorter... Just a few inches long..
1 of the ppl get on it and hold on 2 the side of the boat, the other 2 go side by side 2 the person on the plank in the middle and pull the sides with them. When every1 is pulling, it is able 2 turn the boat bak up right, then every1 climbs bak on, and can do it again if they want!!!!! It's kinda hard 2 do, but it's DEFINATLY fun! ^^
I think i have a picture of the Sailing, with me and my sister on the boat, but it wasn't tipped over... It was a good picture, and if i can, just pm me and i'll show u it!
Oh! There was also Mountain Boarding! ^^
Any1 can go 2 Camp Carson! I wuld definatly recomend it! The Counsolers r awsome, and the food is delicous! ^^
But thats all about my camps that i can think about now! I'll write again soon! ;D heart
