A knight in shining armor
is nothing but a myth.
A character in a fairytale
that will never cometh.
Many hope and dream
and wish and pray
for this one myth
hoping it would come their way.
No matter what they do,
no matter how they do it,
this one fairytale myth
will fall down into a dark pit.
Don't be saddened by my words.
Don't listen or give them second thought.
Believe what you want to
and search for the myth you sought.
As you go adventuring
and think you found your knight,
be careful for everything's not as it seems.
You may be left without your light.
Darkness will then set in
and suck your happiness dry.
You will think back to me
and know my words never lie.
I'll be here waiting
with a sad lok on my face,
knowing this would happen.
I wanted you to know your place.
Darkness become your comfort.
Darkness makes you content.
Darkness will become normal
because of all the time it spent.
Fret not my dear
for your sun is on its way.
He would be as good as the knight,
but he'll know how to lighten up your day.
Happy ever after
is only in a story book.
You will be happy simply
trust me and around yourself look.
