In case you all didn't get it, the last journal post was a joke... >_>
Anyway, Randi's party was cool. Valerie, I gave Randi your truffles, so if you didn't get them when you came home from church, not my problem. razz
So then the whole familia went to Kerry Kowalzyk's college graduation party. First it was all awkward because Jenny and I didn't know what to do and it was a small gathering of middle/old aged peoples, but Mrs. Kowalzyk took us y mami on a tour and then we kind of settled in. They bought this camp that they're going to move into when Kaylee graduates high school, and it's so great.
So after having a piece of maroon colored cake we got Keith (a freshman like Jenny) and he set up the kyacks (?) for us. So I paddled to this island and back. Jenny got tired halfway there and I had to pull her back...it took so long...
Then we tried the paddleboat together but it didn't work because we both wanted to go in different directions. evil So then she started paddling backwards while I was going frontwards, and we were at a stand off in the water, slowly drifting away from the dock. Eventually we agreed to go back, but Jenny was being such a knucklehead..
Then swimming! surprised
It was fun. Keith tried to show Jenny how to use the Tarzan rope but she let go too soon and narrowly avoided impaling herself on the rocks. biggrin
Hung out on the floaty thingy with a slide for a few hours.
Threw around the plastic, headless duck Cherokee (their retriever) liked to fetch.
When I finally got out of the water, all the other guests were gone and it was a quarter to six. The party ended at four.. >_>
I missed retelling all of the action, but that was a basic summary. I like the current Keith. We used to go over to their house in the mornings to be babysat because mum left for work early, and he always, always threw these hissy fits.
It was weird seeing him act more mature (than Jenny). eek
We got pizza at Lil Caesars and immediately after I ate and changed out of my soaked clothes, I collapsed on my bed and slept like the dead.
And when I woke up this morning, it was dawn. eek
I checked the time: 5:00. So I fell asleep at seven and woke up at five..what has happened to my insomniatic ways....
wahmbulance ATTENTION: wahmbulance
Apparently I'm leaving today after soccer to go to Gram's house and won't be back to the fourth. Family problems. I'll try to find my cell phone, so if anyone wants to call me...?
Also, to Randi: 1) Thanks for the books, and 2) I left my key necklace on your [not]bedside table.

ASK YOURSELF in the most silent hour of your night: must I write? Dig into yourself for a deep answer. And if this answer rings out in assent, if you meet this solemn question with a strong, simple "I must," then build your life in accordance with this necessity..." - Rainer Maria Rilke
