Today I woke up at noon.
Fooled around with Jenny, harassed the neighbors over IM, etc., etc.
Read and finished Impulse. Hopkin's books always end badly, don't they? But I think it just adds to their charm, if you know what I mean. smile
Then I walked around in a daze, my head swimming. That's the adjective that came to mind: swimming. Does everybody's head do that or is it just mine?
I also always find myself doing commentary like, "Oh, that's so epic" or "That description just pulled the entire plot into clarity". And usually, with Hopkin's books, I find myself debating the word "beautiful".
It's a very abject (*utterly hopeless, miserable, humiliating, or wretched*) word for me, and extremely abstract. To me, something ugly that can, with words, be seen as lovely is the essence of beauty.
...Well, at least that's what I decided today. I almost always reach the same conclusion each time I debate with myself, only in a different syntax. It varies.
Also, I was browsing one of my mangas and I came across a very interesting word: servile. So diligent word-loving me looked it up.
Servile: slavishly submissive

Oh! My grades. I'm sure you all are waiting with baited breath. rolleyes
Advisory: Pass
Science: Exam= B (without my extra credit! evil ), Final= B
PE 1: Exam= B-, Final= C-
Spanish: Exam= A ( eek ), Final= B
Geometry: Exam= A-, Final= B- (I think that's pretty good for not doing any homework. wink )
AWC: Exam= B+, Final= A-
English: Exam= A (expected), Final= B- (also expected)
My mom flipped when she saw my final mark for English. Apparently she doesn't get my way of veiwing things (that even though all my work is late and get automatic F's, it doesn't count since I got a perfect score before the lateness deduction was taken) and she said if I'm not getting AT LEAST an A in English II next year, she's going to beat me.

I sorry, mami. Don't beat me. emo
Quote of the (yester)day: "I s**t you not."

ASK YOURSELF in the most silent hour of your night: must I write? Dig into yourself for a deep answer. And if this answer rings out in assent, if you meet this solemn question with a strong, simple "I must," then build your life in accordance with this necessity..." - Rainer Maria Rilke
