Experiment Design



1. Buy a pack of party balloons all the same size.
2. Buy at leas 4 bottles of different soda.
3. Buy flexible measuring tape (if needed)
4. Buy or find a measuring cup
5. Empty bottles

In case the balloons pop,
• Use protected goggles
• Use gloves
• Use a shower cap
• Use an apron


To do this project

1. Make sure you have all of your protection gear on.
2. Pour exactly 2 cups of one kind of soda into your measuring cup.
3. When you have 2 cups carefully pour the soda into an empty bottle.
4. When you have your bottle of soda, attach a balloon to the rim of the bottle.
5. Make sure the balloon is secure on the bottle.
6. Hold the rim of the bottle with the balloon and flip the bottle upside down so the soda goes in the balloon.
