ENTIRE LIFE STORY. (Abridged version)
IndentSilaqui is the name given to him by his Human parents. He was named after the female Elf priestess of Pelor that lived with the few families in the hamlet where Silaqui lived. The Elf was too flustered when they told her that she didn't tell them the name was feminine, though she eventually told Silaqui himself much later.

IndentAs Silaqui grew up, he became enthralled with members of other races, particularly the Elf priestess in the hamlet whom he followed around in most of his free time. No place was safe from the curious boy for the rare, non-Human visitor to the miniscule hamlet. There was one event in which Silaqui was forbidden to interact with a visitor by every well-meaning adult in the vicinity. A wounded Lizardfolk had entered into the clearing of small houses and was treated by the priestess. She was given a necklace with many polished fangs adorning it. As she didn't expect to wear it, she offered it to the over-eager Silaqui, with the extra gift of an Elven-made pendant for staying safe inside.

:3 -Insert cataclysmic events here, of which even the PC doesn't survive.- -Also insert the phoenix-like rebirth into a glorious new body.- x3

IndentA druid in Bronzewood Lodge gave him a new name to use that was more agreeable to his body. Still going by Silaqui by close friends, ("close friends" constituting one Nogwier druid) he feels as if "Drashk" is some alter-ego he has to put on, like in the stories of werewolves the Elf priestess had chosen to tell him one day. (Incidentally, his sheets had to be washed the next morning.)

IndentAfter gaining the courage, Brashk entered Diamond Lake with the intent to purchase equipment. The nearly two-hundred pound Lizardfolk over six feet tall wandered about aimlessly, too nervous about a mob of pitchforks to ask anyone for directions. As he was standing in the central square on the Vein, a woman noticed the self-conscious Lizardfolk with a British accent. Intrigued by the oddity, she asked her connections about him and soon offered him a job with the promise of wealth and fame. That was how Brashk began serving refreshments at Zalamandra's Emporium, with the occasional job of a bouncer when Kurlag, the actual bouncer, was serving time. (Brashk has had to threaten to eat many of the drunks he's thrown out.) Zalamandra gave him a work "uniform" composing only of a too-small and tight black loincloth. Apparently she believed it would attract more revenue to the establishment, however perverted the source may be.

IndentIn response to the newly acquired attraction to the Emporium, one of the regulars seemed to attend a little more... regularly. Her attendance paralleling Drashk's to a frightening degree, though everyone but Drashk seemed to notice, including Zalamandra herself. Approaching the gambling woman, Zalamandra was able to illicit through casual conversation that this woman was one of the perverted sources of extra revenue attracted by the not-so-adequate work uniform. After being coaxed unobtrusively by the owner of the establishment, the woman inquired as to if the employees of the brothel could be extended to include Brashk. After the event, a traumatized Lizardfolk tried to quit, especially when he found that that specific patron had close friends of similar interests. The determining factor in his employment was the triple-pay offered if he stayed, though he has only seen half of that because of Zalamandra's newly selective "tax." Now, Brashk gets thoroughly disturbed every other Thursday night.

-

IndentSilaqui's thankfully frequent days off - a bonus alongside the offer of "triple" pay - from Zalamandra's Emporium of Reptilian Molestation are spent at the Bronzewood lodge, where he recuperates from his weekly ordeals in town. Druids and rangers cautiously agree to let Brashk help them in their chores and patrols for imperiled off-road travelers, returning the favor by giving knowledge or help on various skills, or helping Brashk make his Draconian sound more natural. Their instructing and teaching is of immense help to the new Druid, but Brashk would do it even if they did nothing in return for him; he feels refreshed being around people who don't consider him a tourist attraction or a veritable attractor of revenue. His excursions with the other tree-huggers even help him get rid of the dirty feelings he can't seem to get off after every other Thursday.

Here's the motivation, now where's the murder weapon? ninja
IndentSilaqui's most pressing concern is trying to get Nogwier to tell him what exactly had devastated his hamlet. Each time he asks, however, Nogwier always replies with an adamant refusal, which drives the poor boy to his secluded pond, where he swims in his frustration. Whenever his frustrations drive him to his little spot, he always resolves to use his savings to ask the great Allustan Neff about it, but always becomes uncertain and decides against it when standing in front of Allustan's perfectly manicured house.

A little (more) about the wonderful me~!
IndentSilaqui has adapted to being Drashk well, now only accidentally hitting things with his thick tail when it's on purpose. He still occasionally cuts or pokes somebody with his claws, but most people say the slice was nothing and scamper away when they see who gave it to them. Drashk is usually noticeably self-conscious when around most people, though his days spent in the dim Emporium have lessened it drastically. Why be self-conscious when there are young women attending the patrons in less clothes than he?

IndentDrashk is unusually deft and lithe, but not many notice it as they hardly look past the "savage" look. Balancing platters of cheap wine through a crowded gambling hall is not an easy feet. :3 Neither is pickpocketing, but it would have to be a very busy night before he'd attempt it on one of the overly intoxicated clients. In private seclusion, Silaqui's movement has a slight energy to them. A hidden onlooker might notice that Silaqui would gracefully spin on his heel to turn, or seem to almost be dancing to an unheard song.

Appearance:
IndentBrashk has to duck low under doorways to prevent hitting his orange head fin. His solid yellow eyes are the most expressive part of his body, usually showing apprehension and awkward self-consciousness. He has a large underbite like most other Lizardfolk, with crocodile teeth poking past both the upper and lower lips. When working in Zalamandra's, his bare chest is visible, showing hard, thick scales. A pale, off-white color covers his jaw and all the way down to the underside of his tail, spreading across his chest and belly as well. The rest of his body is the color of fresh green grass covered in murky, black mud. Sharp black talons adorn his hands and feet, which he often uses to great effectiveness in battle. His mouth full of luminescent daggers is usually used for intimidation.

IndentWhen not sporting a speedo-like Emporium uniform, Brashk is covered in a hot, brown, wool cloak, with the hood over his head. His tail is uncooperative when he wears it, and is always hanging around outside the tent-like covering. When the cloak is too hot, he'll just wear his semi-modest loincloth. The loincloth is not the fur of a wild tiger or anything of the natural wilderness. It is, in fact, a child's shirt. Silaqui felt unacceptably naked with nothing covering his nether region, and was initially too shy and frightened to ask for anything from anyone at the Bronzewood Lodge, so he found laundry hanging out to dry and helped himself. His leather belt is drawn though one sleeve to the other, letting the shirt rest on it like a hanger. Also on the leather belt are various pouches for Silaqui's belongings, and a scimitar he bought after working at Zalamandra's. Covering his torso is leather armor, already a little worn due to his excursions into the wilderness. A dagger is strapped to his right leg, below the knee. His most prized possession, however, is the Elven trinket on a necklace of fangs given to a priestess by a wounded Lizardfolk. He never takes it off, even when he sleeps; it helps to have thick skin.

IndentSilaqui's speech is formed with British ideals in mind, painting the picture of a respectable man until listeners look at which maw the voice is coming from. With the aid of this distinctly unbarbaric way of tongue, Brashk has been able to convince wary law-enforcers and militiamen from Blackwall Keep that he wasn't an immediate threat to the people. He's still under their scrutiny, just as he's under everyone else's scrutiny when walking through Diamond Lake.
