My Cat Got Run Over!

So, at home we have like six cats. But the sweetest one is Storm. He’s gray and fluffy, and when anybody walks up to him he rolls over so you can pet his belly. He’s my favorite, and I LOVE him.

Yesterday I was in the car with my mom and we were about to pull in to the drive when Storm ran out in front of us and I felt him thump under our tires. When I got out of the car I saw him lying in the street, and I hoped that he wasn’t dead-or that it wasn’t him. My mom went rushing into my house, frantically, and got my little sister (he’s really her cat) and told her what happened. We stared at the limp form in the street, not sure if it was Storm. Then he put his pitiful head up and my brother and sister went up there to see if it was actually Storm and if he was okay. Before they could make it up there though he got up, limping, and went into the neighbor’s yard.

My neighbor found him in his boat. He’s still alive, but we don’t know how badly he’s hurt. I hope he doesn’t die. I love the beautiful dear, and it would kill me if he passed away. crying
