Party Hard! Or is it Party on?
Anyway, the point? I had a busy weekend trying to make things perfect for my dad's birthday. Yeah, maybe he doesn't want to grow another year older, but he likes the attention. And going out spending his birthday money on me! (Long story and sorta embarrassing....)
If you are reading this Claire, I'm truely sorry. I've been trying to track down dad's gift so I haven't been bumping. sad Sorry.
But on the lighter side, when i said about dad spending his birthday money on me, (well I just might tell you if you ask nicely) I got something. Some article or clothes. Four pairs for 18$. Not bad, except Fashion Bug didn't have the sale in the comp, and couldn't ring it up. And is it that hard? To make each pair they ring up to override it to make it 4.50$? We were there for about ten minutes watching them run around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to find out how to ring it up... So in the end, the sale was there. I only payed 18$ like I was supposed to, but one pair was 3$ one was 5$ another 5.50$ and the last one, 4.50$. I have the receipt to prove it lol.
Oy, then after that, I have been after a pair of Hiking Boots for some time now. I find them nice to wear. Especially when I go anywhere. People love to walk, so they are nice. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any and have been looking for a few months. So I walked into a shoe store and found the perfect pair! My luck, it was the only one left and it was on display, (They had a small sale) and the box wasn't there so we had to search. And since we didn't know that was the only one we looked for my size and they didn't have any others left.
We hit another shoe store. My dad knocked half a mountain of shoes over and the clerk made fun of him and joked with him till we left. It was funny! BUT I found a nice pair of sneakers. At least they are better than what I was wearing.
What do you call the people that talk to no one. Like they think that someone is there and ramble on, but no one is there. Besides freak? Well today was the day for them. Or at least this one. He was everywhere we were! target, walmart, the mall, he was scary looking too.... eek
But wow, what a weekend, and that's just half, the other half I have been playing Geek Squad. (Actually I don't work for them so my mom said Geeky Squad, I came up with Geeky Tek. So I won't be surprised if I see a tee shirt one day with my name, the name of Geeky Tek and a computer with the windows and mac logos on it one day.)
Fair warning to those who are reading this and are thinking about buying a new computer. BEWARE OF VISTA!!! Of course you know Vista is Windows. I still don't understand why Microsoft let out Vista when it had this many bugs and holes in it's OS! My aunt and friend have one. Let's just say that it is a pain in my @$$!!! Maybe half of it is her fault since she didn't do what I told her. (She kept opening ads from her email and playing on whatever link they sent her. So don't do that, and don't trust every site out there. So sites are out there to just simply send you a virus. I usually have something that says this site may be dangerous, do you wish to view. So I won't go on.
Still whatever. I don't know. So far my friend hasn't had a problem. Still if something goes wrong I can't say what she did that screwed it up. She gets mad at me.
