YES! I got FF8! (A few weeks ago...but I didn't feel like ranting about it then. XD)

I went to Bookman's to sell a bunch of old CDs with my mother, and I was innocently walking by the videogame section when I SAW IT. Sitting there, on the shelf. CALLING MY NAME.

Well. How could I resist? I latched onto the case like an octopus with superglue on its tentacles and pretty much spent the rest of the time there prancing about in a state of absolute bliss. Oh, I convinced my mother to let me buy it if I promised not to play it till I got to college. But she let me play it anyway. XD She probably knew there was no way I'd be able to wait that long.

I also saw a copy of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, but it wasn't a very good copy. I figured I'd wait to get it from Border's or something, since I still have a gift card.

I still haven't got a new PS2...but I've got Zell and Seifer to tide me over. <3

By the way, is it just me, or are the females in FF8 particularly annoying? I mean, there're always a bunch of fans bashing on all the females from the videogames I play (Tifa, Aeris, Kairi, Namine, etc.) (Not that I play many, but still...) and I usually don't find them that bad. But Rinoa and Quistis just get on my nerves. I dunno why... (Okay, I do know why Quistis bothers me. Running away during the middle of an uber-important mission to apologize to someone who you can easily talk to afterwards? Sheesh.)

And I read the 11th book of the Cirque du Freak series. It wasn't as good as the others, but still pretty good. DAMN YOU, STEVE! WHY do you have to be so freaking awesomely psycho and evil?? AND ENDING ON THAT CLIFFHANGER!!! I wanted to see Darren's reaction, for Shiva's sake! AUGH. Steve...you torture me...

Um. In other news, I finally sold my ninja headband! And got a kitsune mask! It makes me happy, and I planned to use my leftover money to get Mr. Raccoon. BUT HIS PRICE WENT UP. D:
