I'm bored so I'm adding yet another journal entry. If I had the gumption (which I don't right now) I'd upload some of my drawings to Photobucket and maybe post a link or something to show them off. And no, I wouldn't ever submit them to the Art Arena because I hate the idea of having my stuff "rated." That just seems so stupid because it is impossible to quantify art: either it's good or it isn't. Simple as that.
(Yes, I'm in kind of a pissy mood today for some reason, although I'm trying my best not to let it interfere with my enjoyment of Gaia.)
Also, in other news, I can't wait to get enough gold saved up to start my own guild. Then I'll be able to police my own little corner of Gaia Online without having to put up with crap or people who submit their crummy "Why oh why did you make that??" avatars to the Arenas only to have them win out over much nicer stuff. (Oy vey. >.< Incidentally, I tend to vote in the Avatar Arena a lot and if I see one more avi dressed in one of this month's MC's mismatched with items that don't suit it at all in any way shape or form I'll blow a gasket.) I'm hoping to include things like role plays, contests, maybe a writing corner, and lots of other fun stuff.
Whew. Okay, now that I've ranted for a bit I feel better. Cheers, everyone, and Happy Saint Patrick's Day! biggrin
EDIT: Oh, I forgot all about my secret cosplay plans. I have all the necessary items BUT--
1. This may be incredibly stupid, but I want to time it's unveiling with a certain something that may happen this summer. I just think that would be awesome although, by that time, everyone and his brother will have no doubt come up with the same idea and I'm afraid I'll just be "yet another copycat." Waahhh...
2. I'm using my secondary account to do it because, um, I want to.
