Kazekuro can use his chains to take the souls out of dead bodies, and put them in special jars for later use, such as.
Using them to reanimate the bodies as slaves.
Consume them to prolong his life, even by demon standards.
Using six of them to transform into his true demon form.

Kazekuro can use shadows as bizzare gateways to eachother, all he has to do is step into a shadow, and will himself to go to another shadow, or person who is near a shadow.

Kazekuro can use his chains for other tasks, such as stealing souls, draining the life from his targets, or shoot them into a shadow to pull another person into the nearest shadow to them, and into his area.

Kazekuros sword, he can fling it out, and the four segments of the blade seperate, so he can use it like a whip.
