Valentine's day is over-rated...
"Valentine's Day." The day of bleeding hearts and the dreaded "L" word. what is everyone's problem?!?! Or is it just me??? sweatdrop
If you ask me, "Valentine's Day" is over-rated. sweatdrop "Really." It has a bunch of recognition; almost as much as Christmas---- Another commercial holiday is all Valentine's Day is. heart What makes this day so different? Oh, you get to throw around the fact that you care, huh? "Why couldn't you tell your spouse you love him/her yesterday; heart Why'd you hafta wait 'til Feb. 14?!? rofl Over-rated and over done, i guess....
Have you ever seemed to notice how many relationships spark up around this time of year??? rolleyes A little ironic wouldn't you say, or am I just being a little too insightful? redface Well, try this... tell your girl/boyfriend yiou couldn't get him/her a gift that day... (see what happens) xp
Of course V-Day is supposedly the day of "Love"... heart or sumthin like that. rolleyes Whatever happened to care; in fact, what happened to sanity? stare I see it as this... Valentine's Day is a cool holiday, if you will; but there are many things about it that just isn't right. And many people that partake in this holiday have many questionable reasons of why they participate. I'd rather not get anything for Valentine's Day... heart sweatdrop ----- It just seems a little over the top to me, i guess. "I WOULD ACCEPT SOME CANDY FROM MY FAMILY THOUGH!" ^_^ biggrin
---------- With that being said, I guess that's my way of avoiding awkward situations and/or moments!!!! LOL!!!!
