For your dark heavy heart
To brighten like the morning sun,

I prayed to the lord above,
that my wish would bring you joy
Like when tears dripped on your glove
for the two doves that flew away

I sang from the depth's of my will
with a firey strength I held on
song of adventure and thrill

I held you like the guardian angel,
that watches you in the dark
to keep you safe as you slept
from the demons o' hark
