Yes, for all of you I promised to tell you the history behind the English meaning for our peace sign. As many of you probably aready know England and France were always getting in wars. You should know this if you actaully pay attention in school unlike most people. Yes, I do consider my self a nerd. Not a geek, a nerd. Deal with it. I'm getting really of topic now. So in one their wars both sides took prisoners. Killing them wouldn't really help them so they just kept them so that they couldn't fight against them. Both of the sides also had archers. You know like someone who uses a bow and arrow. When the France captured the English archers they cut off their arching fingers, the middle finger and the pointer finger. That way even if they escaped they couldn't fight anymore. They would be useless to the British. The British archers started to point those two fingers to the sky when the French were around. Here and now it would kind of look like you were giving the peace sign in an angry way which by the way would make no sense at all. It was like they were saying, "Look I have my arching fingers and can fight. I'm am going to kill you. HA. HA HA!!!!!!!!!!! " It actaully evolved to basically the same thing as giving somebody the finger. Kind of a wierd story though.
PEACE
